Does anyone have recommendations on what to do if you want good seats but without soundcheck? Is it still worth getting VIP tickets?
Yes, get Hot Ticket Package! (This is called VIP Gold or Silver in the U.S.)

Click on the name of the package for more details.

Does anybody know how many tickets we will be able to buy in the pre-sales?

does anyone know if TM limits the VIP packages to UK residents? It says that they mail the ticket package "in advance" - and I live in Asia but want to go to a UK show
I think that everybody can have a vip package, i never buy one myself but it seems that they were a lot of foreigners in the first row seats reserved to those packages in the last concert where I went.
thanks. yeah, i was just wondering if they will not ship ticket packages outside of the UK for some reason...
It’s all done online. You print out a paper ticket. You receive the merchandise at the show. Well, at least thst’s how it is done in the U.S.
Looked again at the info and apparently they will be mailing out something:
“Ticket packs will always be sent out in advance, time permitting.”
It will be an ID card and itinerary.
No---for the 2015 shows, Event Travel sent out the concert tickets. I think the VIP laminate may have also been there, but definitely the tickets.

They sure do things differently in the U.K. Versus the U.S. (in U.S. it doesn’t matter if it’s TM, AXS or whatever. It is done the same)

Is it 8? I’m the wrong person to answer, as I have only ever bought 1 ticket in pre-sales in 2013, 2014 and 2017. Lol! The answer could be 4 or 6 for all I know. Anybody know for sure?

From my experience last time, was not able to select my seat with the U.K. Hot Sound. I was in the 5th row. And they did send my ticket package to me in the US. It came very near to the time I was leaving, tho, so was a bit nerve wracking.
was that in the centre block? we're debating whether to hot sound or front row, as with front row unless you happen to be one of the very first bookers in that 10 minute frenzy can end up the far corner seat with it being the side block of the floor. Not sure how far back hot sound can end up now in the UK.
It doesn't help we're both totdally unavailable wednesday morning (it's me and my sister who go to gigs), so we're trying to train my partner to book!!! So we will probably end up with nothing

I'm bit confused I'm thinking of trying to get the Hot Sound Package in Liverpool, so if I'm lucky and get a pre-sale code for the Liverpool show I'll be able to buy all classes of seats and all the packages if I do it fast enough? Or are the VIP-packages pre-sale done separately via eventtravel?

I thought it was all done by EventTravel. Just register for a pre-sale code and if you get one, go for whatever tickets you want! If you don’t get one, I would still try to click into the VIP section and see if you could get Hot Sound without a code. Do you have an Amex card? That would be even more helpful.

I’m not getting tickets, but question: it says Presale is at 10 am BST. Is that British Standard Time? So for those in EDT, we are 5 hours behind now? Wow - U.S. buyers will have to either get up early or stay up late!

This was asked earlier but no response yet - anyone know the type of tickets the Hot Ticket package might include. I rang event travel and they said they dont have a clue yet!! I want to take my 7 year old son so I'm not so sure the floor seats would be any good for him to see.
What advantage does Amex give? My neightbour has a card but I cant find any info

Hot Ticket gets you a seat behind the Hot Sound people, so maybe 9th row or further back? It depends on how many Hot Sound they sell. There is a pre-sale for AMEX cardholders.

Yes, I think it was centre block.

I haven't seen any 'regular' ticket prices for Canada. The latest TM ploy is to not give advance pricing for the show (on their website at least) until the tickets actually go onsale.
I guess 'market research' has shown that people are more likely to buy a $300+ ticket when they are there in the moment on TM, than if they had advance notice to think about it, and perhaps think twice and go for cheaper seats.
(Doesn't work on me, though - I was ready to buy floor seats to Robert Plant last month, when I got in to buy tix, saw they were $250+ and bailed in disgust - so did other folks I know.)

I see that pre-sale tickets for all 3 UK shows will be available on July 11 at the Ticketmaster website, but how about general sales? I believe it will be on July 16, but on which website for each UK show?

I'm looking to do Hot Sound for O2 , it says premium reserved floor ticket. Realistically, how many rows back could that be? If I'm going to be far back I'll try for a £143 ticket for block 101 or similar.

I don’t know about the U.K., but in the U.S. Hot Sound is 3rd row to about 8th row. Can anyone who has had Hot Sound verify how far back it goes? I got on the site at exactly 10 am and got 3rd row once and 4th row twice, always in center section. Of course I knew exactly where I would be sitting before I shelled out the money. You guys won’t know! ️

Hi does anyone know what the cost of standard tickets will be and if there’s a age limit I want to take my daughter who’s 6?

MaccaWyman said £143. There is no age limit. 6 is fine, but get her earplugs.

£143 is the max, tickets start at about £79. Btw these are Liverpool and Glasgow prices, London prices aren’t known yet.
