THE 'FRESHEN UP' TOUR 2018

I was running into a what sounds like a similar thing for Madison (or was it Moline?). Something I don't think I've seen before on TM. One of my browsers had a map to choose your seat from and when you selected a seat a popup would appear and you had to click "Add" in that popup. After clicking Add I kept getting a message that another fan had gotten the seat. Doubt it had anything to do with internet speed as my reaction (clicking on seat and hitting Add) was pretty darn quick and the 'too bad' message was instantaneous. And of course the very best seat I found I clicked Add and it just disappeared with no message, and nothing in my cart. Frustrating.
"Phantom" tickets. I have had that happen before for another show. That's why they often do not use the maps for early on-sales, the maps are just too glitchy. There may actually be an available seat and several people are trying to put it into their carts at the same time---thousands of computers all looking at the same thing.

I definately want a floor seat when Paul adds Los Angeles. So how would a hot sound gold or silver seat run for? I just want a seat close enough to where I can see him up close, does not have to be first or second row I was thinking maybe maybe rows 4-6 wou!d be close enough. Can someone give me a n estimate so I kn ow how much to save up for? I think I can afford. one $1600 ticket for that spot. I just know he is going to add Los Angeles next !!!!! I can strongly feel it!

I have a ticket, "seat one, row nine" on the ground floor, Raleigh PNC Arena, hoping it's a good location but now wondering if it's stuck way on the end, I should have looked at the layout chart at the PNC site before calling. Could only get through to an automated voice. Ticket's being sent snail mail
What number do you call to get tickets?????? I thought it was all done online, and I got screwed cause my computer was not fast enough.....everytime I hit the “buy” button, it said another fan beat me to it....over and over. Are there other ways to get tickets????.
Not many people do it, but, yes, you can call Ticketmaster on the phone. I even called them in 2017 when I accidentally bought a ticket to the wrong venue and they immediately refunded my money since I had just bought it moments before.
https://www.ticketmaster.com/h/order-by-phone.html
P.S. I don’t understand why you kept missing out. Once they show you the tickets that are best available, you have 2 minutes or something to decide if you want them before you have to click buy. Then with the rest of the process they give you about 10 minutes. As long as you’re logged in and have pre-entered your address and credit card info, the whole process is quick (and has always worked out for me with TM) This time for Greenville (for the first time) I used my iPad, which has the fastest 5ghz speed.
That’s not the way it was working for Madison ...thats how it’s been in the past, but even tho I was all signed in with my account with TM, a list of tickets came up and you had to hit a buy button on that list....and it would say, verifying tickets, and then A message that another fan beat me....over and over. And after an hour of that, it said all tickets went fast and none were available. Totally different set up than in the past ...and no check to be sure you were not a bot. Multiple tickets came up and apparently were available to multiple people. And now this verified fan BS. I guess my MACCA days are over. The number of resale tickets are disgusting.

It is the 800 number on the back of your Amex card. Whatever kind of card you have..green, gold, etc.

Hot Sound Package, rows 3-7 will run you $1600 per ticket. Gold VIP was $700 for me, but I am not on the floor. Those may cost more, like $850. Don’t know how much Silver VIP is, but maybe $100-$200 less than Gold.

Thanks, but where was that info posted? I searched and saw nothing on Paul’s site.....just the bs about signing up as a verified fan. Well I tried that and it said incorrect code! So that’s not it. I give up....the ticketing system is so screwed up this year at least at some venues.....and I see that auditoriums FULL of resale tickets are available ....the fans are getting screwed.

The registration period is closed now, but when you went to register for verified fan (for the latest 3 concerts) it asked for a code? The reason nightfish and I said the # on the back of your AMEX card was because that’s what it was in the past. I have no idea wtf is going on with these asinine verified fan presales.

Verified Fan requires registration and then waiting until the night before the presale to see if you will be granted a code which allows you to unlock the presale and purchase. If you get put on the waitlist, there is no guarantee you will get a code and therefore you will not be able to participate. The codes get texted in the morning on the day of the presale. I hate this system because TM is deciding who gets to shop and it has nothing to do with what kind of "fan" you are.
Most Amex presales on TM have two kinds of tickets - "regular" ones which can usually be purchased without any kind of code, just by selecting that ticket type in the dropdown. - or "premium" ones which need to be unlocked, and that's always the 800 # on the back of the higher level cards - Gold and up. This time, for Paul, ALL Amex tickets required the 800 number to unlock them, didn't matter what kind of card you had.
Perhaps Amex and PM.com and TM all assumed that Amex cardholders already know about the 800 number unlock and so they didn't bother posting details about it, I guess.

I know everything you said in your first paragraph already, however, your 2nd paragraph was not true for Greenville. I needed no code at all. Just an AMEX card (since the pm.com code thing -PAULFRESHENUP1 was not working for about 5 hours!) I bought Gold VIP without a problem.
The original poster (ospreylady) is the one who is confused. I’m not sure if she already registered for verified fan. I hope so, because it’s too late now. She hasn’t come back since 8 hours ago. The New Orleans presale is tomorrow at 10 am local time right? So people should be receiving their verified fan codes tonight or tomorrow early morning? What happened the last time they did verified fan?

Well, besides me not getting a code, LOL...I assume it worked just like VF has worked for other presales I've done with it. Emails letting you know your status go out the night before the presale - you either find out you are "verified" or on the standby list. If you are "verified,", you are told what time your shopping window opens (they stagger the times), and then you get a text message on the morning of the presale with your code in it. Everyone gets their own code that's tied to their TM account, so you are not supposed to be able to use someone else's, altho I have heard of some people being able to do it. If you are on standby, you still have a chance to get a code later in the day if there are any tickets still available, so you have to watch your phone all morning, just in case.
But many people never get codes at all, and therefore are not able to shop in the presale at all.

That is music to my ears if Los Angeles or San Diego gets added because I live ab hour away from both of those cities. I just hope I will have $1600 saved up by the time tickets go on sale. I want a floor seat as close as I can get!
