If they are like most arenas, with your back to the stage, each section's numbers would start left to right. (so the higher seat #'s in sec. 3 would be closer to sec. 2 and the lower seat #'s in sec. 1 would be closer to sec. 2) Your sections 1, 2, and 3 are the opposite of most arenas! In Atlanta & Louisville, sec. 1 is on the left (back to the stage) And I'll have my fingers crossed for you on Weds. getting soundcheck tix oobu!!!

Apologies in advance to the folks who haven't been lucky enough to have Paul play close to them, but I just CAN'T CONTAIN MY EXCITEMENT!!!! When I spent a summer working in Chicago in 2011, he played two shows at Wrigley...I was in Indianapolis last year (my hometown) and we got a show...and I've just moved to Chicago for good and now there's another show where I live!!! What are the odds???? I'm SO HAPPY! Who's coming to the windy city?
Uh the odds are probably about the same as the odds of having Paul call you up on stage so he can sign your body!! YOU are one lucky girl!! Just count your blessings, my dear--the stars are aligned for you where Paul is concerned!!

No, I don't think that is right. Went back and looked at my tickets for Peter Gabriel at United Center in 2012 and we had the two seats on the aisle in Section 3 across the aisle from section two. And the Sections run audience left to audience right 1, 2 and 3 Here is my confirmation email info: Peter Gabriel: Back To Front United Center, Chicago, IL Thu, Sep 27, 2012 08:00 PM Details: Peter Gabriel Seat location: section SEC 3, row 6, seats 1-2 So in seats 1 and 2, we were closer to the center than the highest number, which I believe is 20 or 25, which would be far audience right.. So the seats run low to high, audience left to audience right . . . Perry/Chicago

Assuming ( and I know what they say about assumptions ) that a 2nd show is added to Chicago, will the presale probably start almost unannounced? I know promoters like to keep the 2nd show under wraps to ensure demand for the first, and once they have seen a majority of the good seats go, the second just pops up. In this case, do we just need to hang around the crowd surge page to see if it appears or will Paul give us a little ad mace warning. In sure there has been a president for this.

Oh, yeah also happened... I count those blessings every single day! I still can't believe how lucky I've been. Now, you'd think with all these shows right where I live I'd stop spending so much money traveling around to see him in other places

I highly doubt that the 2nd show will be added during the presale, most likely it won't be "official" until at least the day of the regular/general on-sale, whenever that is (am too lazy to check. ops: ). If they add it on that day, there won't be any presale. It will just go on sale--boom. If they wait a week or so to do a big announcement ("first show sold out!! second show added!" ) as they did with Wrigley Field in 2011, there will be a separate presale for Show 2.

Yes, as I recall that is how it happened in 2011.

No way I will forget having to deal with The Evil Tickets.com twice.

Anyone know if 1st row VIP seats are waaay to the side? Is it better to go for 3rd row VIP?
-
At the last St. Louis show, I was two seats away from the very end of the first row. If I was to do it again, I would go for the $1500 seat a couple rows back to get a better view. Even though Paul's Scottish head of security (can't come up w/ his name right now...) told the local security guy my camera was fine, he decided on his own after the show started that it wasn't. So for a total of $4000 (not including travel costs, hotel, food, etc.), I didn't get a single photo of Paul. And the security guard stood in front of me the whole time.
