8/27/15 presales

Am I reading the press release right that both the website and AMEX presales will both begin at 10 AM EDT on Thurs? Don't ever remember both going simultaneously.

It's happened before. Last year, I think Dodger Stadium and Candlestick had their pre-sales at the same time.

Thanks, Sgt. I'm going to have to try to do this on my phone for the Detroit show, so I think the AMEX presale through the Live Nation app will be my best best. Never had any luck w/ the website when mobile.

Yes, and at other times, also.

I don't get it, why have the Amex pre-sale at the same time as the Paul McCartney site pre-sale? Kind of defeats the purpose of even having a fan pre-sale and makes it much more complicated for everybody to get in at the same time to get tickets.

Don't know, but it's often done like that and for other artists, too. What will NOT be fun is that since all 4 fan presales are at the same time (I think?), we have to hope that Crowdsurge is not going to crash from all the traffic!

Exactly! I'm going for VIP, so hoping Ticketmaster doesn't crash either on Thursday!

Just hope they all don't get mixed up...I forget exactly when, but once when there were four presales, the links led to the wrong presale - it was a nightmare.

Just to confirm...the pre-sale will be through Ticketmaster??? (linked from this website)

Folks....the presale will be through Crowdsurge and Am-ex Ticketmaster presales. My question is about Crowdsurge: I haven't bought tickets since 2011 for the last McCartney presale. I can't access my profile to update my billing payment option and delivery address. How do I go about updating that info?

try here for more info on how to contact them: http://support.crowdsurge.com/ so just resetting your password for the account does not work?

I had to email them with the updated info. Which is a little strange. I still need to update my payment option.

Just got a message concerning this and they said they don't retain payment info so you'll have to re-enter that when you purchase the tickets, I suppose.

Any other tips for getting a hold of presale tickets? How quickly do they usually go and how difficult is it to get 2 or 3 seats together from the presale? -Rubber Soul13

Don't you have an account with CrowdSurge? If you do you can update everything thru the account. That is available with TicketMaster & it helps. If your US & counting on CrowdSurge you should line up paypal or something just in case if you can.

The tickets sell as soon as they're released, but don't think thats the end of it. More tickets do get released in the first week, they will put up a notice when they're all gone. I use to stay on & try continuously, I didn't this time & got a good ticket with TM today. 2 seats together is no sweat, I don't know about 3 together, they do not want to split up a pair for that 3rd seat. As more people request 1 ticket they start allowing it. Lastly, the presales held here are never without a hitch. Just roll with it. Good Luck.
