I want to take my daughter to a one on one show. I saw online that Paul uses Pyro. My daughter doesn't like the loud explosions. Is there a lot of explosions during the show? Thanks in advance.

Just during Live and Let Die but it is quite intense in terms of heat and sound so you should not be close to the stage, at least on the floor. Also I would recommend hearing protection regardless of where you sit.

Do you think I will feel the heat from the 5th row floor? I remember being able to smell the smoke from in the stands. I came home smelling like fireworks.

You probably will feel it but it's not too bad. Nothing like what the band endures.

If it's like the pyrotechnics he's used on previous tours, I'd say you very well could feel it.

I haven't sat close to the stage since 2002, but if it's like it was back then, you'll feel the percussion of the explosion...as mentioned above, it's all about "Live and Let Die"...but keep in mind, these explosions go off three times during the song...after each time he sings 'Say..Live and Let Die...', and then at the end...where Paul and the band mocks that the last one was an accident Incidentally, it's pretty loud even when you're not too close...I took my daughter to see Paul at Fenway back in 2013 and chose not to splurge for the better seats...I knew what to expect since I've seen him a number of times...but my daughter was still surprised despite not being too close to the stage... There's also a fireworks show (of sorts) during that song

You can also hear the explosions in question...and the perspective in this video isn't even in the stadium, but actually quite a distance away....and I stand corrected - there are two explosions after each verse...so there 5 explosions to contend with

you will absolutely feel the heat in the 5th row. to the original poster...if your daughter really does not like the loud explosions, and you are anywhere near the stage, even in the side seats, I would take her out of the arena during that song.

Yes, I agree. 5th row you will feel the heat and the explosions are LOUD! How old is the child? Sorry, for those kind of prices to be that close, I wouldn't waste my money on her and miss one of the best parts of the show if you had to take her out before it. Jmho.

Thanks for all of the responses. As long as it is just during that one song, I should be able to take her out of the arena and maybe give her some earplugs or something. If it were more frequently throughout the show I might have to leave her at home.

You never said how old she is? If she is under age 7, I'd leave her home regardless (unless you have that kind of money to spend and don't need it for her college fund! Lol!)
