Hi Linda, really was disappointed I did not locate you before the show I looked but we did not get to our seats until 8:10 pm and so time was a little short. I was really glad we met for lunch and I was finally able to meet you..thanks be careful going home.

There was at least a fan blowing on Paul but don't know about any air conditioning. the humidity was brutal and the air in the ballpark was very still, no breeze, so that made it horribly uncomfortable.. I was really hoping Paul would take off his jacket sooner but he kept it on for the same songs, I don't know how he managed that without overheating. Soundcheck was 90 minutes because they were trying to fix a problem with the radio frequencies on the guitars, especially Paul's. They even soundchecked a song using the raised platform which I haven't seen done before. My melted brain does not remember which song ops: but Macca Report should have it soon. When it was time to soundcheck the ukulele, instead of doing Ram On, they did the full version of Something as performed during the show, also unusual. There was also a very long Milwaukee Jam. All bonuses for the soundcheckers!

I enjoyed lunch with you and your grandson. How did he like Paul? Yes, time was a bit short for you as the movie was probably going by that time. People behind me said they didn't pay to see a movie.

I met friends who went to sound check last night and they said they were told by sound check regulars, the raised platform is not used in sound check and that you got lots of songs that are not usually sound checked because of the problems with the radio frequencies. I was in the parking lot and kept thinking it was over and then another song would come on.

What song did he start with? The first I heard was Honey Hush.

He should add A Taste of Honey to complete the trifecta.

Back home in Omaha...had a blast in Milwaukee. The oldies station blasted Beatles tunes all day and the bars on Bluemound Road got into the event with Paul themed foods and music playing. Took a shuttle from. The bar to the stadium so we didn't have to pay for parking. The concert was hot like everyone said. I felt light headed while waiting in line so I went and sat down. Once we got to our seats it was ok but I had to take a couple of rests during the show which I never do. Sat next to an 18 year old kid that was there alone but he really knew his stuff. Very fun to share the experience with people who love it. It was a great night for me and my my mom as that will be our last show together before I move away from home. The only bad thing was the jerk/security guard next to us. Our seats were one in from the aisle and this guy came over and told us we were not allowed to hold up our signs. We are always very respectful of the people behind us when holding them, only doing it for a few seconds before putting them back down, and only occasionally thru the night. This guy stood next to us all night and refused to let us hold them up. We asked about the dozens of others holding signs and he said he didn't care about them, but we couldn't hold them up. Trying to take the shuttle back took well over and hour and was poorly managed but nothing can spoil a Paul night.

I have a few clips of songs posted on YouTube, user name WisconsinMom. I don't take full songs, which would be nice, but honestly, I can hardly hold still for a few minute clips, let along whole songs and I also respect the copyright laws! Amazing concert...best I've EVER seen. It helped that we were 17th row dead center. Perfect. Not too close, still close enough to tell Paul's eyes are brown/hazel. Went with my 24 year old son who has gone with me to the last 3 Macca shows. He was also blown away. (I raised him on the Beatles. Gave him a ukulele when he was 3 that he pretended was his guitar and sang along to all my Beatle records. And I taught him the Beatle bow too. He is a student teaching semester short of becoming a music teacher.) It was ungodly hot...we got to the parking lot across the freeway from Miller Park just after 4:30. It's also the backside of the stage so we got to hear Sound Check perfectly. However, we headed over to meet someone at 6pm, not realizing that they would continue. Getting in was kind of a madhouse. Everyone just kind of converged when the doors opened, but everyone seemed to be in a good mood. Seats on the field were very tightly packed. We sat for almost 2 hours because the show started 45 minutes late. Once it started, I didn't remember that I was hot and sweaty and uncomfortable anymore. Just short of 3 hours.......swapped out I Saw Her Standing There for Get Back. Everything was perfect. Took lots of pictures. No idea how to get them on here. That's about it!

LetMeRollIt89:
paul came out around 8:50. so far, so good. mrs. vandebilt being sung right now. its hot and muggy. paul's soaked and vocals are a bit rough, but the band sounds incredible and the sound is pumping. paul got a louder response when asking whos from chicago rather than milwaukee... pretty funny.
But an even bigger cheer when he asked who was not from either Milwaukee or Chicago...especially in Section D.

LonelyRoad:
Giant digital billboard off the freeway with Paul and the Out There logo reads: Welcome to Milwaukee Paul Someone grab a picture!
I have the picture...not sure how to get it on here. Hope this works... http://s158.photobucket.com/user/nanckopf/media/Paul%20McCartney%207-16-13%20Milwaukee/IMG_2835.jpg.html I am also in the process of uploading more photos to Photobucket. If I can figure out how to post a link to them, I will when they're all done.

Is it true that before Mrs Vandebilt Paul was talking about
with congratulations on his 71 Birthday? Could anybody remember what he has said? Maybe you have a video??? -
