      Dear Members.

I am posting here in case anyone worked at the Apple studios and would be able to authenticate the Studer C37 tape recorders I have here as the ones originally purchased for their studios.

I would email sir Paul himself as I'm sure he would like to know the machines still exist but no idea how to reach him.

They are claimed to have been originally bought for the Apple studios. One has an interesting trolley that seems similar to the types used on the EMI BTR series recorders that were used at Abbey road..

I was told that after the studio closed these machines were donated to the London film school where the person I purchased them for had originally worked.

Looking at some paperwork that came with them they may have been supplied by D.Godwin of DG Electronics, Dollis Hill. London if you know of that company or if they had anything to do with the studio?

it is known that the Beatles did use this model of machine at Apple and one of them is green and not the usual studer grey

Could anyone assist me with authenticating them?

Below are the serial numbers. There was also a third machine from the same source but no known history. I have included numbers  of all 3 serial no plates in case.
      One machine is green.

      Serial no’s.(612, 712 and 330)

I can't work out how to upload photos here but have them for anyone who is interested in helping! One of the machines in question is my avatar profile photo

      Best Regards. Retro.

Photobucket is not letting me upload pics right now or I would post a pic of the recorder that is on display at the Beatles Story in Liverpool. It is green.
