Drive in concert and streams

One of the bands i follow recently did i big gog at a drive in, I am not sure if its the type of event id go to what about you?
it was around $150 and $250 per car
Also a another band i follow did a live steam concert from a small venue the band and a team of 6 for the sound and lighting etc, it was £7 a view and included a months play back
Is this the future ?

I've been watching The Fab Four Beatles tribute band doing one-hour live stream concerts. They charge $10 and some can be rewatched either for 72 hours, 20 times or unlimited times. They did the Let It Be album, two love songs shows, then two heartbreak songs shows. I didn't go see them in Feb. 2020 because they were going to be on my March 2020 cruise - well, that has been postponed to March 2021, and not even sure they'll be on it now. It might even get moved to March 2022! (the Jan. and Feb. cruises were moved to 2022)

I think the future of concert-going will be different, at least until a vaccine is generally available. Drive-in performances are new to the U.K. but it might be possible to have events for cars (plus coaches and mini-buses for those of us who don't have cars). Audience numbers would be restricted and it would probably be expensive as the live music industry is really struggling. If it rains there could be problems if it's an outdoor gig in a field which turns into a swamp. Drive-in Glastonbury?

I doubt if coaches and mini-buses would be allowed. That defeats the purpose of social distancing. The idea is to have one family in each car. I agree this concept would be much easier in the U.S. where practically everybody has a car and we have tons of large parking lots all over the place.
