I couldn't be happier to hear the news that Sir Paul is heading back on the road again for what looks to be a fantastic year ahead! As a seventeen year old "Beatlemaniac", it is another year to HOPEFULLY have a better chance to see him live for the first time! So, this is my personal plea Sir Paul. You've been to Abu Dhabi before and it would be amazing to have you there again. #UAEWantsSirPaul

Not gonna happen. He's only doing 3 dates in Europe, then South America and then lots of dates in the US and that's probably it. It's nothing different, really. You're not alone in being disappointed. They sold tickets last year for two dates in Denmark, postponed it and promised to rescheduled... and they broke that promise. So that goes to show how much they really care about what fans want. $$$$$

I was hoping on the rare occasion he might alter his busy schedule to perform somewhere else for a change! I know 2012 was a wonderful occasion being able to perform at the Olympic games and for the Queen's Diamond Jubilee, on his usually unheard of return to England, but surely this year could have been/will be different! Shocking to hear about that concert, though.

What I'm trying to get at (what I put before may have been exaggerated) is that it is understandable that when touring you want to visit all your fans across the world. But wouldn't it be nice to see him return to England to perform? The times he did appear were for special occasions and not the "odd" concert he was just expected to perform. The bottom line is, I wouldn't mind a variation in his touring. At least have a few in England once in a while, some more across Europe and Asia. Pretty please?

He usually does shows in Britain when he tours. However, it is usually in the latter part of the year, and that is what I am expecting this year.

But.... After the newspapers dissed Paul's performance at the Olympics, do you think Paul is rushing back to GB? No. I wouldn't. Think about it: If Paul headlined a major event in South America and performed the way he did in London, would the South Americans diss his performance? No. Same with the US. Would they diss him over here? No. I think the UK press is just fed up and done with Paul and regard him as a "has-been". The South Americans and North Americans are grateful and love him. As he should be. Maybe that's a reason he's not returning.

                  7/15/11- Yankee Stadium
                  6/8/13- Barclays Center
                  7/5/14- Times Union Center
                  8/7/16- MetLife Stadium
                  9/15/17- Madison Square Garden

                  Thank you Paul!

I think all he wants is respect, and he's not getting that from the UK press. He should've kept the Denmark shows so he could warm up vocally for the Olympics, then he would've sounded like he does during his gigs. Man, if only we could swap the Glastonbury 'Hey Jude' with the Olympic 'Hey Jude'...

Why punish REAL fans because of the press, who aren't fans? If that's there reasoning then that's absolutely absurd and an insult because he does have lots of fans here. Real ones. His career did start here after all! And I have read good press about Paul here, so assuming the UK hates Paul is ridiculous. His shows are about the fans... everyone else doesn't matter, including some attention-seeking journalist!

I really doubt if Paul gives a flyin' f*ck what the British media think. Anyway, he played Liverpool and Manchester in December 2011.

                            1976 Kansas City | 1990 Berkeley | 2002 Portland | 2005 Portland | 2013 Seattle | 2016 Portland
