Paul, 30/06 AND 01/07 Horsens, Denmark - POSTPONED

Absolutely, and the same can be true of quite a few performers. He's not cancelled often, but when he has, it's either because of health reasons (lost his voice) or financial reasons.
If Paul cancelled both concerts in Denmark for financial reasons, I guess it's time to perform in countries where "Sold Out" is a sure thing.

...Paul is a business man as well as a musician. if it's not financially beneficial for him to play a concert he will not do it.
That is the bottom line.
Absolutely, and the same can be true of quite a few performers.
No problem here with that -- would not expect anyone to work for nothing.

Or Paul could completely ignore your advice and continue to perform concerts where he wants to...

Paul wants to go where the money is, and that is fine by me.

A bit disrespectful to Paul and the people of Denmark, don't you think?

Hahaha, actually, that was a bit sarcastic, Audese. Of course people in South America has a lot less money than people in Europe or the US. Actually, Paul has to go where there's interest in seeing him live. And going by the numbers (with ticket prices even higher than in Europe) there's an impressive interest in here.

In reality, Paul doesn't "have to" go anywhere. He's reached a point in his career where he can pick and choose where he goes. Will money play a factor in that decision? Sometimes, yes, as he doesn't fund his own concerts, but has other folks involved in underwriting his costs, etc. However, he will ultimately have the final say in whether he does a show or not.

Really? I thought someone was putting a gun to his head forcing to perform in places he didn't want to.

Ah, there's that Argentinian humor you've been talking so much about. Funny that, seeing as you were the one who posted he had to play certain places. However much fun this conversation is, though, this thread is about the people who had tickets for the two shows in Denmark that were cancelled.

Hey, very nice of you to acknowledge the Argentinean humor! I only express my wishes -as everybody else does- to see Paul again in my area. And back on topic, I'd be very pissed for the cancellation, especially if I had plane tickets, hotel reservations and work leave ready.
-
The concerts in Denmark are cancelled. That makes THIS thread a moot point. And fair game!
-
Can we not just all get over this now, especially those who didn't even have tickets for the shows in Horsens? (Although I feel sorry for those who have booked plane tickets and hotel rooms or those who have never seen Paul live before). I'm sure Macca will return and we will see him again. Just wait and see and ram on!!!

Probably not a moot point to those who had tickets to the shows...
