Linda my friend, I am happy for you!

Bucket List sound check Section B Row 5 Very, very, very happy!
You think Paul's gonna make it to our side of the country again?
Audi are you not going to make this show?? I thought this would be about five hours from you.
I have two others who will be traveling with me, and neither one of them wants to go to Texas or St. Louis. I'm hoping for more options.
Audi....you're killing me. You MUST see Paul again. SOON! Kidnap your friends and hit the road! But seriously...
You'd think I would've learned my lesson by now...
Tell your friends you are going to the St. Louis show and that when he come to some state other than Missouri or Texas, they can come with you to those shows!
-
I agree Audi I would be letting them stay home, I mean really do they just expect him to play at the local pub?? You are killing us we feel your pain..LOL
-
AEG Presale is live now, everybody who doesn't have tickets yet! Go go go!! Also--people looking for two or more adjacent--don't give up! It took me at least an hour and a half of constant refreshing but I finally got two seats together to pull up in the right price range for me. Keep trying!!

Well, when one of the two is your bf, that can get a bit tricky...

They're willing to travel -- just not to Texas (they think everyone there is a shotgun owner). And I haven't told 'em that the next time I see Paul, I fully intend to do the WHOLE package, too -- soundcheck n' all.
-
I understand, would they be upset if you went by yourself?? I would think they would understand it is a passion..but hey only you know I will leave you alone, just wish you could make it.
-
You guys are killing me, now.

I am very frustrated. I'm taking my daughter and we can't afford the packages. Crowdsurge is listing regular seats for sale but not 2 seats together in any sections I want, and my daughter is only 12 so I'm not getting us separate seats. I keep refreshing and it keeps giving me totally different sections available every time. I could get 2 seats in further away sections but that's not what I want. And now it's not showing anything available at all so I have no idea what I'll be able to find at the "presale" tomorrow. It seems totally ridiculous the way they sell these seats. Last time in Cincinnati I got online the second there was a presale and got the best seats I could, and a month later I saw seats available on Ticketmaster that were better than mine.
Cincinnati was a stadium. This is an arena. Not near the number of tickets as at a stadium. I bought a Hot Sound package to Detroit last year and there were better Hot Sound packages available a few weeks later. Stinks, but it happens.

When I first heard about then newly announced shows I paid for the 'premier' account thinking I would get advance notice of presales. I was gone most of the day and when I got home, found out about today's presale. Did NOT recieve any advance notice. The best tix I could get were sec. 104. My last 2 floor seat experiences were not so great though - people dancing on chairs in front of us, and we're not giants. I was in row 20 at Wrigley Fied and Paul was but a dot to us, we watched the screen most of the time. What do you all think, keep my 104's or try for floor seats. I want this to be memorable for my daughter. Really wish I could afford the sound check tix but that's a family vacation in one night. Comments very welcome.
If you don't want to stand up, you are better off in Section 104. People on the floor tend to want to stand up and dance. I remember in Des Moines, the couple beside was aghast when they realized the floor crowd was going to stand. They asked me if it would be like that for the entire show. When I told them for most of the time, the wife said to the husband they should have taken the balcony seats.
-
It wasn't the standing up - -everyone stands up and dances - it was the people standing on the chairs in front of us that was the problem, at several concerts. We're not tall people. Anyway, after a million refreshes this morning (I HATE typing those security codes), best I coud get on floor is C35. Now to decide which pair to use.
-
Audi, I did not mean to imply that you were not, just asking a lot of people now days are in tight spots financially..I was just going to offer to pay for your transportation if was an issue. That is all I was wondering for.

Nah, bro...the only issue would be my tempermental "entourage." But you've re-affirmed my instinct that you're a cool dude.

Many places, people aren't allowed to stand on the chairs. An arena is easier for security to see that. In a big field like Wrigley, in the dark, it would have been difficult for security to control unless somebody complained directly to them. I'm not tall and I've also never danced on a chair.

Anyone familiar with this venue? Like I said, at Wrigley, Paul was a speck to me in row 20. I'm in 35 - maybe better since it's a smaller venue, I hope? Really wish I could afford one of the sound check packages (
