Just saw this too. Does ANYONE have ANY idea what on earth a "hot ticket" is??? Are they talking about the Hot Sound, Gold, & Silver VIP packages?? If so, why wouldn't it just say that??

Wonder what the difference is between a 'Hot Ticket Package Presale' and a 'Presale'?
"Hot Seat Package Presale" is the presale for the (very) expensive VIP packages. "Presale' is strictly a presale for the non-package, normal priced seats.

I'm 99.9% sure that they're just referring to all the VIP Packages.... Front Row, Gold, Silver, etc..... They just use the term 'Hot Ticket' as a catch-all description for lack of space on the page.
-
I'm guessing that the Premium Member presale will happen an hour or so before the regular presale, on Wednesday. However, I'll be chained to my computer starting tomorrow morning at 8 a.m., just in case I'm wrong.

Thank you!! Sorry for panicking...I've reached that stage in the Paul ticket purchasing process where every new bit of information sends me into a complete tizzy ops:

Fingers crossed that I can get tickets to this. I don't have the money this time around to buy floor level seats like I've been doing the past few summers, but Paul is Paul! I've booked a hotel and put in for the next day off work so if all goes according to plan I will be making the 8 hour drive to St. Louis that weekend with my mom for my 10th Paul concert! Not bad for a 23 year old. Wishing every single one of you the best of luck with tickets and I hope to see you in Missouri!

San Diego really? Are you just speculating?
Isn't everything speculation? I speculate a horseshoe loop from Houston to St Louis to Minneapolis west across Canada then maybe finishing in SoCal. He only did 2 Hollywood Bowl shows in 2010, nowhere near the # of seats sold in New York the past few years. SoCal is warm in December, ideal for a stadium concert.

I'm in to the stress eating stage now and wondering how early to get up tomorrow. What I do for that man.

So am I right that if you are not planning to buy one of the expensive packages, the first presale opportunity is still Wednesday?
-
I turn a radio on as soon as I get up in the morning. Is it just me or have they played 10X more Beatles, Wings & PM songs than usual today?????

Yes, that's what I inferred.

Now if we can just get the price of the hot seat packages. I didnt pay any wheres near in 2010 what someone quoted earlier in this thread. Bought front row VIP with soundcheck for the first Philly show and paid around $1,200, I think. Bought the gold hot seat for Charlotte which turned out to be a great seat for around $600. I believe. I have to work tomorrow anyhow. Only took off Wednesday. (Need to save a day for November)

2011, Chicago, 4th row plus soundcheck-$1500.00.

Someone in the Edmonton thread said that a presale code probably won't be necessary, but that for Live Nation's presale it would be SOUNDCHECK I'm thinking (and hoping) that if you want to give them $1500 for a concert...they're not going to make it too difficult for you to do that

I had no idea. Thank you, Kelly. I have actually left this board for long periods. I would guess 50% of my posts came in the Count To A Million thread back in the day.

I actually live in StL. For those coming in, I can answer your questions about my adopted city. Staying downtown is nice - but you don't need to. There are trains that can get you downtown from other parts of the city, where hotel rooms may be cheaper/available. Sightseeing, eating - I can help you with that. Now - if someone could help me figure out if there is going to be a presale, and what the password is - that'd be great. McCartney is the only artist on my bucket list...at 36 with 2 little kids, I've never had the chance to see him. Desperately need to go to this show...
