Thanks so much for the link to those pics Diana...I really enjoyed them all I am so looking forward to having the book...but I have just spent so much money on ebay buying Beatles stuff, that I think I should tighten the purse-strings a bit I also want to buy a pair of Converse John Lennon peace trainers (or sneakers or tennis shoes, whatever you want to call them), and I think they are about £45......it's an expensive business being a Beatle/Paul fan!! Maybe I should put the book on my Christmas wish list too and someone will buy it for me!!!
You are welcome, Roopa. Tell me, what for do you want to buy Lennon's trainers?? what are you going to do with it? And how can you be sure that it WAS John Lennon's shoes? If it was really so... then I think it is cheap. Sorry, for maybe stupid questions but I never had a deal with ebay stuff. ops:
John Lennon's trainers? Where do I sign up for one of those?????? (that is, if he WORE the trainers and have never been washed)
-
No, they are Converse ones designed in memory of Lennon, with a globe and a dove and his signature printed on them.

Right! That's what Roopa explained me!

Thanks for the warning Lauren....I am usually careful and (touches wood) haven't had any probs with them yet.... I wouldn't have bought the trainers from ebay anyway....as they are in American sizes and the Converse website advises you to buy two sizes smaller than you would usually wear....so I really need to try them on before I buy them. I haven't found them in Sheffield....so I'm going to have a look in a couple of shops in London...I've got the addresses, so hopefully I'll get them!

Hi Lauren and Roopa! How was your weekend? Roopa, I hope NOW you are "prepared" for Wednesday? Lauren, I have no doubts you gave useful advices. Good question, Lauren. If I didn't know that Roopa has already finished University and now working hard I'd gave her... about 20 years old. Judging by the photos of course! And her friends don't look older than she is... So, yes, 20! But I guess, she is older.
