Rusty

Helloooo!!!! I'm new here, so I better introduce myself. My name is Katinka and I'm an 18 years old student. I got Rusty's CD some months ago and I'm still listening to it all the time. I always wanted to write on this thread but I was too shy... ops: (At least someone convinced me... ) Ok, I hope I'll get to know you a bit and everything about Rusty, too. Hugs to you!

Hello Katinka, welcome to this thread.....we hope you have a good time posting here. I came to this thread quite late too, but have made some fantastic friends and we all have such a laugh together. It's the perfect place to talk about Rusty too.....he is just soooooo lovely And Diana always posts fabulous photos of Rusty ops:

By the way, Katinka, was it you that Diana and I were chatting to the other day at MSN messenger? If yes, then we already know each other! I hope you have a fun time with us on this thread
-
Thanks for the welcome! Yes, it was me, but I couldn't say much because I was absent a bit... ops: : I'm looking forward to having fun here!
-
Yeah!! A new recruit!!

Wow, if that is you....COOL!! I have just submitted an article to a couple of horse magazines actually.
IF it's really her? who else would it be??? Props to Corinne - she gives a lot of her time to the horse community here in the States - this is one honor that is well deserved.

Thanks Susan, it is quite an honor for Willem since as you know he was sadly put to sleep last year, right before the author of the book (my friend Cindy) found out that the publisher had chosen the photo of Willem and me for the cover. Willem and I - well, Willem in abstentia of course - raise money for Equine Cushing's Syndrome research, which is the disease that ultimately lead to his death. That and equine rescue for horses that have had to be confiscated by the humane society to get them out of starving situations. Rusty's dog Ted is also a rescue; Ted had been abandoned outside a studio that Rusty was recording at and every day he saw the dog there. He asked about him and was told no one owned him, that he was a stray, so he took Ted home and Ted Anderson is now one of the luckiest and happiest dogs around.
-
Awww, the Ted story is soooo CUTE!! ops: If I hand around his recording studios enough, do you think Rusty'll take ME home?! Ans what I meant by the "if it's you" comment was just in case you were joking or something, not that you would have been. Horses were a big part of my life, used to go on day-long hacks and loved every minute of it.
-
Oh, the Ted story is sooo cute....does anybody have any pictures of Ted and Rusty? Would love to see them

Kat, should I be ashamed?? ops: Yes, I have to admit that it was my idea to make you post here. I saw Rusty's lyrics in your signature and thought that perhaps you are dying to tell us something... Anyway, welcome to the thread and have fun here!

Thanks for a story about Ted, Corinne! Now I know about which dog Rusty talked in one of his Q&A. It feels they became really good friends. And, yes, lucky Ted! Who is Ted (what's the breed, I mean)?

Ah, thank you very much, Roopa!!! By my avatars you can always say who is in my favour at the moment... you can see it is NOT Paul, if you recognized another guy! ops:

I think Ted is at least part Chow Chow. Sorry, no photos unless Rusty releases some; I don't have any of Ted and I never post my own photos. My family no longer "does" Christmas presents, so last year Ted was the only one who got one!
-
That's cool and cute, Corinne.
