Last night Rusty was home in California.
Hi Corinne? How is Rusty? Is he busy with the session work?
-
Ahhhh to be a burnette on this side of the computer Actually I had a blonde moment yesterday when I was trying to load photoshop on my computer and I needed a seriel number to have it load, well I didn't get it and I was about to call and complain when I found the seriel number on the disc's cover! : Is Rusty working on any musician's cds that we might like (besides with Paul)?

No dates yet, maybe we'll know more in about four weeks. Rusty is playing at the Fullerton Museum Center on May 19 as part of "The Orange Groove: Orange County's Rock n' Roll History," which coincides with the 50th anniversary of the Fender Stratocaster, which was "born" in Fullerton. Should be a blast!

Groovy. Anyone who's going, please report back to us!! Hope you're all well. I am very worried about Roopa.

Hi Corinne and thank you for info! Wow, never knew that Fullerton was a "birthplace" for legendary Fender Stratocaster.

I am happy and relieved; I have finally heard from Roopa and she says hi to you all. No word on when she'll be back on here, though; she's been very busy with work.

Here's some more info on the Fullerton show: Rusty Anderson, Paul McCartney?s lead guitarist, will perform Thursday, May 19, at the outdoor Fullerton Market. The concert is being offered free by the Fullerton Museum Center in conjunction with its exhibit ?The Orange Groove: Orange County?s Rock ?n Roll History,? which celebrates Orange County?s musical legacy and its impact on popular music. The concert will be held from 6:30-8:30 p.m. in the Downtown Plaza, which is located on Wilshire Avenue, between Harbor Boulevard and Pomona Avenue, adjacent to the museum. Visitors to Fullerton Market will also be able to tour the Fullerton Museum Center?s exhibit, ?The Orange Groove,? which uses rare photos, instruments and artifacts to trace Orange County?s role as a breeding ground for rock music. Woven throughout is a tribute to ?hometown boy? Leo Fender, who began manufacturing the Fender Stratocaster in Fullerton 50 years ago. The exhibit, which runs through May 22, was curated by Jim Washburn and developed by the Museum staff.

Thank you, Corinne! I hope someone will post any info after the concert. Curious to know how it was.

I told Rusty yesterday I will take live shots and candids that day. Of course, I might well just do this with my cameraphone!

Me neither. We need to have a serious catch-up chat.

Well it will be nice to see them !!! Hope you have a good time.

Looking forward to it - when Rusty plays in Orange County, it's always like "old home week," and lots of people you haven't seen since the Eulogy / Soldier / Andersons / Living Daylights / Ednaswap days turn up, so it means lots of reconnecting with old friends. Eulogy lead singer Myles Crawley will be there; Myles then went on to be lead singer of The Vectors. Original Vectors singer Dan Rosman will be there as well, along with other former Vectors. Dan had an old Vectors single he put on eBay a few years ago that went for over $1,000.
