I think it's this week that Rusty's doing that show of his. I hope there are some cool photos.
-
I think Corinne said it was 19th May , but i might be wrong ,and yes it would be nice to see some new photos
-
Yeah. I'd love to see some snaps of him in Eulogy wearing eyeliner. (I have a think for Billie Joe Armstrong from Green Day ever since he dyed his hair black and he wears eyeliner and looks HOT and a bit like Paul) ops:

Gawd, I almost forgot, I have the best Beatle anecdote from my holiday in Vegas. I went to the showjumping and dressage World Cup, and was happily invited to the exhibitor reception. I was chatting with a journo friend and her husband, and she toodled off for some quotes from one of the dressage riders. He said "I knew I had her for good when I took her to a party and John Lennon was there. I had interviewed him before, several times, and reintroduced myself, and he said 'XXXXX from the NME?! You're famous, man!'" And, at that point, he knew is now-wife would marry him.
-
PS This was circa 1968 or 1969.
-
Forgive me for being slow but are you saying the jockey used to be a writer with the NME?
-
No, the journo/wife is a dressage rider/former A&R person who covers US equestrian events for a European publication. Her husband came to Vegas with her and she brought him along to the party; he was an editor of NME back in the 60s, and hence the "famous" one. Tom Selleck sat in front of me for the final day of the showjumping. Of course, I didn't realize it was him for the entire first round.
-
Groovy. Always the way; sitting near someone cool and/or famous and only realising afterwards.
-
Fortunately one of my friends tipped me off when I came back after the break between rounds, and since I had my cameraphone I managed a few shots. But Tom at shows here is a normal thing, his daughter Hannah showjumps and he comes to shows a lot. And he is even better looking than he was in his Magnum PI days. But you betcha I could sit right next to someone hugely famous and it would not register at all.
-
I've met footballers or walked past them without recognising them. Anyway, I don't suppose you have a nice piccie of Rusty wearing eyeliner you could share with us, please? I understand if they're private.
-
They are in a box in the garage, I will have a peek next time I have the time to go through 'em (because, of course, none of the boxes are marked). I know the Yahoo Rusty site used to have some good ones on there that Dee posted from the Chuck Era of Eulogy. I think he still wore eyeliner sometimes then; that was when they gave up the leather clothes for the most part.
-
I will check out the Yahoo page sometime (I am too lazy to log on right now).

So who did you end up watching the most , the horses or Tom ?????

-
The horses, absolutely. It would take much more than Tom Selleck to pry us away from that amazing showjumping final.
-
I don't even know what he looks like!! ops: By the way, does anyone else think Michael Douglas is quite cute? ops:

Dawn:
