Hmmmm... well, if that is what was being referred to (?) then I guess I sort of understand that maybe there was some surprise on the part of some fans when it was mentioned, but I really sincerely don't think that Rusty choosing to keep his personal life, well, sort of personal and private constitutes any sort of black mark against his character, imho... and it's not like he was regularly actively claiming to be single during the time when he wasn't ... he just doesn't really refer to his private life a lot; I think someone in his position being a bit guarded is entirely understandable. And while nobody is perfect, from everything that I have seen he appears to be a man of pretty admirable character...

I agree with you, Kristi.

I'm sure if Nusty was raughty, Paul wouldn't have him at his right hand Personally I got to hang w/him a couple-3 times and only ever got a great vibe from that guy. Thoughtful, honest & kind to all from what i saw. Seems like a great human being to me But "Know your guitarist 101" girls: if he has a ring on the 3rd finger right hand, that's a wedding ring Unless it's Paul, then it's on the left

Ok so I can understand how my statement has aroused curiosity so much so that I received a couple of private messages back to back that made me wonder if there are some that maybe truly obsessed with him and his personal life beyond the normal curiosity. The reality is my statement is my own opinion of him and I felt good expressing my opinion on this public forum without going into further detail. And yes, while we all are human and make mistakes and are not perfect, I am not naïve. I do not deny his talent as he is truly gifted but for me, I am not impressed with his character anymore regardless if he is married or not, open about his personal life or not. This comes from my observations and my experience with him. I am sure you all have your different opinions and experiences with Rusty and I know what mine were.

Hi: Well, first, I am sorry to hear that you have had private messages that you found objectionable... that is a little scary... but I chose to respond in the forum as I was confused by the sudden appearance of your statement, and it's lack of detail, especially in light of my own observations. I suppose that perhaps Harley and I shouldn't have jumped to any conclusions, I guess that wasn't helpful, sorry. : And, I think that certainly, you have a right to your opinions, and for all I know there may be a basis for what you have stated and implied. But I feel that it is a pretty serious thing to sort of impugn someone's character in such a forum as this, and for that reason I wrote my previous post as I felt the need to respond in some way to your original post. At this point, short of pressing you for more detail, which you clearly feel is not appropriate, -- and likely isn't! -- I think that we should all just drop it..?? This is a place to revel in the music, and our experiences of it, and in spite of my own proclivity for wandering off into revealing too much about my own life here , I really personally feel that is the best focus of this forum...

Is anyone else on here considering trying for Mexico tickets?? I am considering it, though I doubt I'll get through...

hey count me out of the equation - I was just asking if it was cos he was married?- n curious about her statement-

Rusty's tweet last night says the following and it is indeed a very good idea: "when in doubt commit random acts of kindness"

Agree-words of wisdom from Rusty....

I'm sorry, Harley!!!! I didn't mean to seem critical of you. ....(ugh, sometimes stuff just comes out wrong... and lately I seem to be specializing in that ) Sorry.

Happy (Born On) Earth Day!

I am very interested to learn Rusty could have been an evil genius being a king mixer of chemicals when he was a kiddo but chose to use his powers for good that guy is entertaining

If he had been my chemistry teacher in school then it probably could have been my favourite subject... but I absolutely hated it. ops:

Kimsey, did you ever get your programme??
Just got it today... it's miles better than last year's tour programs. So far what I've enjoyed most in this new program is Quizzing The Band and the interviews.

Glad to hear that you finally got it! I thought that you'd be glad that you ordered it afterall. I enjoyed those parts too; the quiz was fun because I have to admit that I really didn't know most of it either, so it was interesting to see what the answers were, in addition to seeing their amusing responses...
