A full transcript would be nice too! (But probably asking a bit much )

I heard him on the radio; it was only a 5-minute interview and he called in during the request hour. I'll try and tell you what they discussed (what I can remember anyway). They played the album version of "Hurt Myself" at the end of the interview, and gave away 5 autographed copies of Undressing Underwater to the first 5 callers at the beginning of the song. They talked about the Brian Wilson show and how Paul attended that; Rusty was there too (don't know if he was there the same night or sat with Paul) and said it was amazing. Rusty said that in the 60s, Brian played demos of Good Vibrations and God Only Knows (Rusty paused before mentioning the second song because he was trying to remember which one it was), and said Paul was floored after hearing them. Rusty talked a little about how he got Paul and the band to play on the record; he gave a CD of his stuff to Paul and Paul seemed to genuinely like it, so he asked Paul to play on the album, and he said "Sure!", so they did it in a hurry in 3 days between their US and Mexico tours. Chris Carter (the DJ of Breakfast with the Beatles) mentioned how much he liked the album and how he had been listening to it all week, and specifically mentioned liking Sentimental Chaos and Ol' Sparky. Chris said something about Ol' Sparky sounding like a T-Rex song and asked Rusty whether he meant it to sound like T-Rex. They talked about that for 30 seconds or so (I can't remember what else he said about the T-Rex thing; I think he said he was influenced by a song by Generation X - I've never heard of them). They talked about who else was on the album briefly (just mentioned names) - Stewart Copeland, "P Hux" (as Chris called him), and someone else who played horns or something on the album. There was some sort of story in the UK where Heather said that this will be a pot-free album, and Chris asked Rusty about that. Rusty said that he has not seen Paul smoking much and said some other stuff about it (can't remember, sorry). Chris joked that it could either slow down the recording of the album or speed it up. Rusty eventually didn't have a strong stance on the pot-free album thing, and Chris said "That's right Rusty, you know who your boss is!" (or something to that effect.) Chris said that their band's show was the best concert and best set-list he had ever seen (and he has seen many), and asked Rusty which songs he most liked playing. Rusty said that he enjoyed playing all of the of them, but specifically mentioned transcribing the harp part of She's Leaving Home into guitar, and also said of course Maybe I'm Amazed because it was the grandaddy of Paul solo songs (something to that effect). I think that was about it. A little while later, a guy called in who was a neighbor of Rusty's in La Habra. He said he had no idea Rusty was on Paul's tour; when he was at the show, he thought the guy looked like Rusty, and was amazed when Paul introduced him as "a local boy from La Habra". He said that Rusty was a guitar teacher at Whittier Music Company (or something like that), and he saw Rusty in a 3-piece concert. He also saw Rusty in Eulogy when was 12. Chris said that they've had about 6 people call in who have said that they've been in a band with Rusty at one time. That's about all I can remember. Hopefully someone else can add other things they remember. Corinne, perhaps you can help? Sharon

Have you ever listened to Courtney's former band Hole and her late husband's Nirvana? Is pretty much like that. It's rock

Catbox Beach is so infectious. Once you hear it, you're humming it for the rest of the day.
