          He's right. More and more music these days is consumed via streaming and what the artist gets is pathetic. No, Paul doesn't need the money, but artists just starting out or not as famous really do need the money. The creators should get most of the profits from the works they create, but the music business doesn't work that way most of the time.

            On the positive side,more and more artists are cutting out the 'middle men' and taking the DIY route and selling directly to their fans. It creates more work of course but the financial rewards are a lot higher.
