Hello,

RE: Paul is the only one who can stop this ticket rip-off
In the end, isn't it the best thing for them if 3/4 of the tickets are sold in 30 seconds to robots? After all, sold out is sold out...
I am starting to ask myself the question...
.When Thom Yorke came to paris this year, you had to show your I.D to enter the venue. If it didn't correspond the name on the ticket, you couldn't enter. People were warned when purchasing. Very simple solution.

They're playing with your nerves. Don't buy the packages, stay calm, and wait for the general sale!
I agree with you. The Edmonton presale yesterday gave very little options for verified fans to buy normal tickets; just packages and AMEX tickets it seemed.
Today, I kept refreshing broswer and boom, verified tickets on the presale came up which went lightning fast. I snagged a couple; got lucky I guess
I have no idea what will be available in the general sale, but I don't have time to follow this all week.
It's unfolding just like I predicted: create hype with VF presale, offer mostly lower rear seats and uppers that cost the same as the best (non-vip) seats ($300+), but hold back on those to make folks think this is the best they will get for this show because - after all - you got a 'special' 'exclusive' code to buy.
Who gets the best seats besides the lucky few on general onsale day and vips? For some venues there's season ticket holders, and corporate and industry insiders, I even heard a rumour TM employees get access to tickets 15 minutes before everyone else.
People who've seen Paull many, many times and didn't get a VF code maybe actually got the better end of the deal, and didn't have to waste their time searching for presale tickets that didn't exist. If they'd been offered through the fan club, like in 2012, it might be a different story.
Yes, this. I'm saying this for years, but just keep calm ineed. Vancouver '16 night 1 I couldn't get a single ticket during the initial sale, then got fantastic seats for the nosebleed price the week of the show. Echo Arena Liverpool '15 I couldn't get rid of my decent floor ticket spares for more than a few tenners. Sydney '17 - first show in 25 years - was a hot selling arena ticket: went over without a ticket and got a decent enough ticket at the door before the show for a fair price. And so on.
They wanna make us believe the demand is insane, and you should pay even more than you already do. I will be sitting it all out, and decide in December which show - shows, depending on setlist - I pick.
They finally let me out of the waiting list for London 02 today to propose...seats at the far end of the venue, and at the very top. Didn't know "verified fans" were supposed to get tickets 150 meters away from the stage and 30 meters above it! . In a word: they just hope we'll buy the shitty seats to be sure to get a ticket. As far as I am concerned, I'll just try to get a "non verified fan" ticket at the general sale. Will probably get a better seat. And if not, I'm sure I'll get a second hand ticket just before the show.

RE: TOUR PRE-SALES, THOUGHTS?
I got what I wanted for the O2 Arena, so I won't complain. Didn't get anything for Amsterdam though. That pre-sale was a bit strange: looked like everything was already booked at 10:00 strike.
