@musicdad I just looked on Ticketmaster and there are suddenly some $99.90 tickets again! I imagine you would have to be quick to get them, though. https://www.ticketmaster.com.au/paul-mccartney-got-back-2023-docklands-21-10-2023/event/25005EEFAD42175E

RE: Sydney, Australia - Sat 28 Oct 2023 CONFIRMED
Is anyone looking for two tickets for Sydney on Saturday October 28? I have two spare tickets in Section A5 on the floor (marked red below). I have listed them for sale at face value ($400.40 Australian) on the official Ticketek resale site (https://marketplace.ticketek.com.au/fantofan). Note that all of the seats shaded blue are A Reserve, so these are pretty good tickets!
Please note that Ticketek Marketplace is a quirky site that doesn't seem to work well when the main Ticketek site is busy. If you have trouble with the site (e.g., it is very slow or gives you an error message), I suggest that you try again either very early in the morning of late at night in Australian Eastern Standard Time.

RE: Members face-value ticket offers and requests
For the Australian tour, all tickets are digital, but fans can legitimately resell them via the original ticket sellers, Ticketek (Sydney, Brisbane, Gold Coast and Adelaide) and Ticketmaster (Melbourne and Newcastle). [Source: https://www.frontiertouring.com/PMFAQ]
Ticketek has a special site for Fan-to-Fan ticket sales (however, I have noticed that it can be slow or fail to produce ticket offers altogether when the main Ticketek site is busy, so best to try very early in the morning or late at night AEST). The link is here:
https://marketplace.ticketek.com.au/fantofan
Apparently, any Ticketmaster resale tickets are available through the normal ticket sale site, but will be marked as resale tickets. [Source: https://www.ticketmaster.com.au/ticketmaster-resale]

I'm really sorry to hear that! It might be worth trying again because sometimes more tickets get released. I'm still able to get back using this link and password...

RE: Melbourne, Australia - Sat 21 Oct 2023 CONFIRMED
@musicdad
You're welcome! One other tip... Based on what I saw of the Telstra presales, I don't think there will be many seats available at the lowest price and they will go very quickly. So be prepared that you may end up having to go a bit higher to get the tickets. Better to decide in advance what you're willing to pay than to have to decide in the heat of the moment, which is stressful enough already.
All the best for the presale!

RE: Melbourne, Australia - Sat 21 Oct 2023 CONFIRMED
No worries, @musicdad.
You can find information about the Frontier presale, including the link you need here (click the "Presale Soon" button to be redirected to the right page on the Ticketmaster site):
https://www.frontiertouring.com/current-tours/paulmccartney/melbourne
Frontier also has a Presale FAQ here that might help you:
https://www.frontiertouring.com/help/presaleinformation
If you don't already have a Ticketmaster account, I suggest setting one up now. I don't know if there's a way to set one up after you've already chosen tickets, and you will only be given a few minutes to complete the transaction. I suggest having a "trial run" with a different show that's already on sale so that you understand the process. You can cancel the purchase before you commit to buy.
Good luck!

I also haven't received it. Maybe they are leaving it until tomorrow morning?

RE: Melbourne, Australia - Sat 21 Oct 2023 CONFIRMED
Hi @musicdad
The sale on Friday is the "general public" onsale, which just means that you don't need a presale code to get in. The ticket categories and prices will be the same, but once they sell out in the general public onsale, there are no more left. Presales have "allocations" of tickets and don't usually sell all the tickets (e.g., Telstra would have been allocated certain seats/rows, and Frontier would have been allocated different ones; others might have been saved for the general public onsale). So, you might as well give the Frontier presale a go tomorrow.
Hope that helps!

RE: Paul, Come To Australia
Hi everyone,
I wonder if it might be time to revive this thread, by which I mean I wonder if there's a chance that Paul might be heading our way in early 2018? Here's all the "evidence" so far (if you have more, please add it!)...
1. In July, when Paul received his Helpmann Award for "Best International Contemporary Concert" in Australia, his video acceptance speech finished with: "I want to thank the people at Frontier, the people at Marshall Arts, and most of all the audiences of Australia. You were brilliant. Thank you very much, see you soon!" (This was reported in numerous news stories, for example: http://www.noise11.com/news/paul-mccartney-wins-helpmann-award-for-best-australian-concert-of-2017-20180717)
2. His Australian promoter, Frontier Touring, repeated the "See you soon" quote on social media (https://www.facebook.com/frontiertouring/photos/we're-delighted-to-congratulate-@[182736663312:274/10155561446132409/).
3. When the U.S. dates were announced today, People noticed there was also a phantom Australian date listed (https://www.facebook.com/FansOnTheRun/photos/p.2103698432997855/2103698432997855/?type=3&theater).
4. Frontier Touring have just sent out an email that includes a competition to win a copy of "Egypt Station" on vinyl and CD.
Fingers crossed that this might all mean something!!!
Just for fun while we wait to find out, here's a poll...
Cheers, Andrew.
