My all-time favorite flub during a concert was from Quebec in 2008. Right before the fireworks start in "Live and Let Die", Abe must have really done something to crack Paul up, as you can see Paul start to laugh right before the "Live and Let Die!" moment, and then you can see that Paul can't even finish the line. Right around the 32 second mark:
I think he laughed because he mucked up on the piano!
Exactly - just when the D major shifted to D minor, he missed a note (actually a key stroke)...And while there's probably no way to verify that, I agree with you in believing that's why he laughed
To me it looks like as if he made eye contact with someone who had noticed the mistake (and we all did) and who probably pulled a face about it! Whatever,... it's priceless!!!

Haha, that's cute!!!

I removed the lurid description of the buzzards and the deer. I didn't feel comfortable putting that image in others' minds, but thank you for the commiseration..
...after some of us read it already. I understand it was gross but what would you rather have? A rotting carcase or it getting eaten and cleaned up naturally? This is just nature at work doing its job. If I die, I wouldn't mind getting eaten by buzzards as long as I am dead when they eat me. (I've nearly been so I know how it feels).
Kathryn O:
too many people preaching practices...
She said "I know what it's like to be dead. I know what it is to be sad" And she's making me feel like I've never been born. I said "Who put all those things in your head? Things that make me feel that I'm mad And you're making me feel like I've never been born."
Oh yes! Wonderful choice!!!! Good luck with your new duty on this board, Anita!!!
Thank you very much Fiona! The news that you resigned as a mod was a complete shock to me!!! This board is going more and more down the drain!
Are the royals invited to the wedding??? If not, WHAT A SNUB!!!

Just in case you've not seen this one yet...
I'd never seen that one before. Is it from the new book of Linda's photos? It's absolutely beautiful. And I don't just mean the man and the baby. The lighting in that shot is gorgeous. This is exactly what people mean when they say Linda made great use of natural lighting. Of course it doesn't hurt that the subjects are gorgeous, too. Wow.
That picture is in her new book and it's absolutely stunning! Probably my favourite picture in the book!!!

I think he's standing on a step in those photos! Some more... And a bonus: Livia Firth took this in the ladies' bathroom -

Don't get me wrong but did they forget to tell the kids that they're going to be photographed???
Haha, somebody just posted on facebook "did anybody notice that the names of ALF's hosts were Willie and Kate!?"
By the way, I've only seen bits and pieces of the wedding so far but think that William inherited the charisma of his late mother! Just something that disturbed me... when Kate walked down the aisle William didn't turn around... he stood with his back to her! Wasn't he allowed to watch her!? It looked kinda strange! Then again I liked how Harry turned around to take a look at the bride!
I think the kisses were alright! I'm not sure I'd want to kiss passionately in front of 1,5 billion people! AND they kissed twice, I think that was something new!
Just got home and saw some footage of the whole thing! One thing I have to admit, a truly beautiful wedding dress! But the exchange of the rings looked painful, at least for for the bride!
GYPSYGIRL:
The papers today were loaded with pix from Queen Elizabeth on her wedding to beloved Diana & Charles. But very happily, no wedding photos of Charles & "The Rottweiller"!
But the one Charles obviously really loves is "The Rottweiller"! If he had been allowed to marry the woman he loved there wouldn't be the whole mess! To tell you the truth I always felt more sorry for Charles than Diana!

Here I go, being Mr. Bah-Humbug again, but... ...I'm still perplexed why so many people are enamored with a family with so much scandal. I'll ask this question again in a few years when we're all reading about their divorce.
I'm with you! Actually, I find the whole thing quite sad and I also fear that this will end in another tragedy! I read the TV scedule for next week and it says on friday, 2:30 pm "The kiss of the newlyweds on the balcony of Buckingham Palace"! Never in a million years I'd want to be in their shoes!
