Dreamseer:
Believe me, if you had been at the Viper Room for Brian's show, you'd know for SURE that there was nothing hush-hush about it! The place was ROCKIN'!!!!!!!!!!
It was so great to have Brian and his band back in town, playing all the tunes we love from Mondo Magneto!!! They sounded FANTASTIC!!!! Brian looked great [as usual] and the band kept everyone dancing! Yes, there was a lot of money-maker shakin' goin' on!!! Sorry to report, still no ballads on the setlist.
But, "Tears of a Clown" was still there!!! Everyone keep your fingers crossed..........maybe....just MAYBE....Brian can be persuaded to add the "smoochers" for the release party!! Keep sending those thoughts his way................ The Dirty Knobs with Mike Campbell followed Brian onstage and they were awesome! They had everybody dancing and laughing through the entire set. Even spied Brian over to one side, dancing away!! It was a really great evening and the crowd was a lively one! Brian was his usual friendly self, speaking to people and taking care of business. Thanks, Brian, for the time you give to all your fans! It is very much appreciated! CDs were on sale there, as well, so, if your copy of MM was as worn out as MINE......... Regretfully, we had to leave before the last act came on. Anne McCue was her name. Check her out, if you get the chance! I think she's playing in LA later this month. Really hated to miss her, but some of us had work and flights the next morning. [Thank goodness the release party is on a Saturday!!!!] Sorry to take so long to post, kids, but I've been having some trouble with this forum. Hopefully, that problem is now fixed! If I've left out anything you're really curious about, just ask.................... ![](https://maccaboard-assets.s3.amazonaws.com/sites/maccaboard/modules/custom/pmc_forum/modules/pmc_forum_post/old-emojis/icon_lol.gif)
Flights????? Who had flights????
The show was great!! The Viper Room was cool
- much smaller than I expected. Easy to see the band up close and personal. Brian and the band looked great and sang well. It was my first time seeing him live, and I'm very glad I went. He did come out and chat with us afterwards - very nice of him. The Dirty Knobs were also really great, and a lot of fun.
Next up....The Mint!! Can't wait to see him again!! Hopefully he'll include All I Know and If You're Leaving Me this time, as well as Tears of A Clown, which was really great by the way. And no early flights the next day, I promise!!
