Hello, especially to any of the old BR Thread crowd who may still be out there!!
I've been enjoying Paul Mccartney at the BBC on the tele and there were some great memories of the tours from the last 20 years.
Looking forward to Glastonbury!

Oh, man! What a night! I'm just now getting home after The Bayonets' record release party. In a word, the party was amazing! I had never seen the Bayonets perform live before, so it was real treat getting to see them play! First off, a little rundown of the day's events. I'll post some pics sometime tomorrow. I got to the venue with a friend of mine around 5:30 or so. To our surprise, we were the first ones in line! Besides ourselves, one other guy was waiting in line as well. After waiting about 30 minutes or so, a man who worked at the No Vacancy asked if we wanted to come inside and cool off because it had been a really hot day in L.A. today. Of course, we obliged, and we were able to get in a couple of hours early and see the Bayonets run through their soundcheck, something we wouldn't had been able to do otherwise. Soundcheck lasted about an hour or so, and they ran through the songs that they played during the main show. After soundcheck was over, more people starting arriving, and then the band started to play around 9:30 or so, and continued playing until around 10:15. The setlist was as follows: "Cotton Candy," "Sucker for Love," "Whatchagot," "Smartphone," "EZ Rider," and "Crash! Boom! Bang!" All in all, a really fun, cool night! Also, Abe showed up too, and was definitely enjoying himself!
Sounds fantastic. Glad you had such a good time! Thanks for sharing.

Hi beatlesrock
2: Where did that time go to , 11 years , can you believe it
Hello to you, too! 2: I know!! It's scary how fast the time goes. I think the most exciting part was awaiting the release of Mondo Magneto.

Just got back today from Verona . The show was amazing , probably the best one I have ever been to !! and I have been to few ! lol It had rained a bit in the afternoon, but thankfully it was a beautiful clear, dry night , under the stars, really magical
The amphitheatre was so beautiful and acoustics were great .Paul voice was really strong and clear. The audience were fab , singing along sooo loudly. I loved the set list , so many new songs that i'd always wanted to hear played live one day . At the end of the night ,the first encore of 3 songs, Day Tripper, Hi Hi Hi & Get Back all included Brian playing lead , and he sounded amazing !! ( we thought it should have been called the Brian Ray encore
)
Fantastic!! The photographs of the setting look amazing. It must have been a very special show. Glad you enjoyed it!

Love the new video , it's such a great song
It's fantastic!!! I love the sound of the guitar that Brian is playing!

Brian was most excellent last night! I loved his solos and I really love his bass playing, he just drapes his hand over the bass so lightly and gets such amazing sound. When he kicked in on Lady Madonna it gave me shivers! Such a first class musician and super performer! And even better to know he's a first class person too.
Another wonderful experience!
So glad you enjoyed it! I absolutely agree with you!

Glad you had a good time!! Was there a particular highlight or were there just too many!!?
