The Midwest and West Coast had their run. Now its time for Paul to get back to NYC, Boston, DC, Hartford, Montreal, Toronto, Cincinnati, Cleveland, Detroit, Raleigh, Charlotte, Syracuse, Buffalo etc...
Yes, I really wish he would come back to the NYC area. I prefer attending concerts I can easily take mass transit to. Right now it looks like a road trip to Philly, unfortunately. He skipped us last year; he really should come back this year!
With the absence of a NYC date, I got tickets for Philly, but would still love to see him come to New York. Maybe on his next tour!

Going to see Clapton in a couple weeks... Hoping to hear some Cream!
Going May 2 at MSG
I'm going on May 1, but I heard that one of the shows may be moved to Sunday because of the Rangers hockey schedule...

I got Section 113, hopefully those are good seats. I may try AMEX tomorrow to look for something better.
Those won't be too bad. I've sat in a similar seat before.. You will have a full view and be able to see above the crowd.
Great to hear... Thanks!

Bobby, I'd grab Philly.....bird in the hand my friend
Definitely will go to Philly... Thanks!
As a New Yorker, would you guys recommend getting tickets for Philadelphia or waiting for the possibility of a New York show?
KingMacca:
So uh... about that announcement... :
Maybe there are even more cities being considered, so they may announce next week. It's strange though, because even the Wells Fargo Center tweeted that the announcement would be today...
Is there usually a presale or are tickets available as soon as the show is announced?

One wonders who would win, though. I remember hearing that Billy Joel and The Bee Gees had dueling NYE millennium gigs in NYC in '99. Billy CREAMED 'em, supposedly.
I can say with 99% certainty the Philly show is NOT the 20th... And duh, its Billy Joel for **** sake!!
What would be your guess for the Philly show date?

Any update on the Philadelphia rumors?
I heard announcement soon
hope it's not those dates tho; they don't work for me.
Hopefully there will be additional dates besides just Philadelphia...

June 23-24: Philadelphia Is what I'm hearing....
What about New York?
KingMacca:
If I miss him this year, whatever. I'll only be upset if I never see him again, and if he retires from touring this year.
He's going to let people know before he retires. A Paul McCartney Farewell Tour would probably end up being the highest grossing tour of all time. He won't end touring for good so abruptly on this tour.
KingMacca:
Hate to say it but I'm starting to doubt US tour dates this summer. Hope if they happen an announcement will come relatively soon.
If there isn't an announcement within the next week or so, I don't think there will be a US tour...
I still think that a few more shows will be announced for 2015... Maybe not many, but there are just a lot of gaps remaining in between shows on his schedule now.

Boston may be attractive to Paul because it's only a half-hour flight each way. Fly to work, put in six hours, fly home.
I'm thinking Philly, Cleveland, Hartford 2015. I think 2014 was the last of the extensive tour. 2015 will see these dates, and I believe he'll do one more tour 2016-17, with a relatively shorter schedule (think maybe 10-15 dates per leg instead of 23). I heard an NYC show is unlikely for 2015.
I could see him maybe playing the Prudential Center too.
I think at the very least, NY, Philly, and Boston shows are in the works for this summer. Other than that, I think he's done with the U.S. for a while.
I agree that there could be shows both around Firefly and Lollapalooza in the U.S. The Yankees happen to be away from June 25-July 2, so I wouldn't be surprised if he plays a show at Yankee Stadium then.
