    • RE: Melbourne, Australia, AAMI Park, December 05+06: CONFIRMED

Sadly I have no inside info on flight details and due to work, I will not be plane or limo chasing 😞

If anyone gets any info, please feel free to share in a private message.

On a good note, I am soooo excited, I can't believe it's two sleeps!!! It has come around so quickly.

I think you are right, it sounds like you don't. I entered one via the Today Show that I didn't win 😞 but in the terms and conditions, it basically said that if Paul wasn't up to it after the concert, then he was not obligated to conduct the meet and greet. I'm sure Paul would do his utmost and meet these obligations, but that disclaimer gave the competition promoter a 'just in case'.

Oh my god, it's not long now! I can't wait! I'd love to meet Paul at the airport. Anyone got any ideas on how to go about it/find out/make a guess at his flight arrival? It would be a domestic flight so he might even come into Essendon on a charter, I have no clue. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated!

Yeah, I was wondering about that. I can't really see him getting the SkyBus from Tullamarine!

No I guess not but then again, he was spotted on the Tube by himself recently! Mmm, waiting for flights coming in that day wasn't a bad suggestion, but again if he flies private to Essendon it kinda wastes a morning hanging out at Tulla. I would LOVE to be able to meet Paul.

I got a section 25 row A (so first row of the floor above ground) for the platinum ($250) price for the Wednesday night show. I was pretty chuffed with that after spending so much for the Tuesday show.

Is anyone doing the whole leg? Perth - Melbourne - Brisbane - Sydney - Auckland. I am and almost exhausted from buying tickets on silly Ticketek before it begins!! Not the best of websites, but I found the mobile version to be okay, which I only discovered yesterday for the second Sydney concert! See you there

Wow that's hardcore! I checked flights to Sydney and couldn't justify it and hedged my bets on another Melbourne show. Luckily the second one was announced so I snapped up a cheap seat but was very happily surprised with the location. As others said, some of the cheap seats are as good as the Diamond ones.

Hi to all the other 30-something fans who will be at Paul's concerts. My dad found it quite amazing that Macca had so many young followers (this coming from the man who got me into The Beatles at a very young age!) Murph, I don't know if you are trolling or not but Paul playing here now has actually benefitted me hugely. If he played here in 2002 I doubt he would have ever come back to Australia and back then I did not have the money for a great ticket. I'm pretty sure there are many fans who are just grateful that he finally added Australia to a tour.

Even though it said side sections on the website - I was totally wrong about my section guesses - I'm in A3 as well (but my email says SA3 - anybody else got that on theirs?)

Not bad. If you don't mind my asking, what seat number are you in? If you are on the sides, it might give us a better idea of how wide that section actually is.

If you look at the Brisbane seating plan (I assume they are all similar), there are 26 seats across section A3. Also, I believe that "SA3" simply means "section A3". Cheers, Andrew.

      Thanks Andrew!

I don't want my ticket number on the net for months before the concert, just in case of hackers or whatever (you never know in this day and age!), but I have PMed it to you if it helps you to work out that section and where exactly we will all be seated. I'm not that far from you!
