    • RE: Decades-Spanning "Live" Album Milestone Reissues

Although I would love to listen to remastered CHOBA and the AMOEBA sounds vaguely interesting to me, and the "Paul is Live" does have one of the nicest live versions of "Here There Everywhere," I don't understand how Wings Over America is also being re-released, not because it isn't good-it's  arguably the bes tof the bunch, but I would have preferred a remastering of Tripping or  even Unplugged: A nice box set of CHOBA, Unplugged and Tripping would have been nice, as these albums I believe were tied closely together.

But, i'm not going to complain, and will most likely forgo vinyl variations and fget the CD's

PS: if Wings over America somehow manages to get another remastered treatment ( I did not care for the last remaster) then I will pick that up too.

Although, I'm not interested at all in a puzzle or a pack of cards, I do hope the extra tracks in this set do see some other form of release or somehow make it to legit streaming sites. I enjoyed the bonus tracks to my only copy of this record on the Target CD version....and for the foreseeable future this is the only copy of this album I'll need, (unless they release a 2 CD version in the future).

    • RE: THE NEXT DELUXE/REMASTERED ALBUM FROM PAUL

Hopefully, this price is just a marker; I have seen the prices come down after release, and it has paid off for me in the past to wait patiently, psecially now as we have The Beatles White Album ob ost of our holiday wishlists.

    • RE: Mother Mary Angel Card (Paul related)

Thank you, LadyLeslie, I printed the card out for Mum and have it on her night table, along with the"Let it Be" lyrics. Her eyes lit up wonderfully when she saw the card. Thank u again and blessings from us to you.

Strangely the divisive "Fuh You", I can live with.... if I later learn it is the twelfth best song on the album.

Love this comment! Could not help but find this amusing, given how many tracks will be on that album.

Although late at catching up with threads here, I love this pic. Thank u. I went through a horrible year of almost losing Mum in a horrible car accident. She was 2 months in coma, and this year has come out and is walking and talking. She still has a way to go, because of the brain injury but everytime she hears "Let It Be" her eyes moisten. The song "Let it Be" has helped her to recover, because it has helped her reconnect. with her memories, as she grew up with the Beatles and has always loved Paul, not just as a musician, but as a human being.

    • RE: EGYPT STATION

The review seems promising, the first two tracks sound promising to me (not much a fan of the third in terms of production); but I'm looking forward to this album. With everything that is going on, the world needs a bit more of McCartney.

I love the original cover, always has. But the re-issue cover? I agree with you on that one..

I prefer the original cover too, but have to agree that I prefer almost any other McCartney album cover I've seen to either.

Perhaps we should do a thread on favorite album cover. There are so many cool ones: "Ram" "Back to the Egg" "Tug of War" etc..,

Broadly speaking, yes but via Glasgow before reaching Liverpool I think. (That might be on his mother’s side).

As a McGrath, I would love this to be true, as it is the same path my own Irish ancestors took, and I can fantasize that they may have been from the same pool.
