that was a young American lass who had been coughing all night just before the nutter.
Yup. That was meeee! I wish I knew who you were! I was already pretty sick with my cough so I probably should not have been out there, but it's Paul McCartney! So who cares! And going about this whole topic of the backlash on Paul and HMV - we arrived in line at 1:30PM on Thursday and were about 20th in line. Multiple times the HMV managers let us know that no one was guaranteed entry at all, your chances are just higher if you are further up in line. There were also rumors going up and down the queue that he was going to be there for an hour/will only sign the first 100. If everyone read Paul's twitter (and I hope if they are willing to camp out on a street for him, they do read it), they would know that there were 60 VIP wristbands that would be going before us. It was very clear to everyone what was going on, yet people still believe that they have a right to throw a tantrum about it. I would be devastated if I wasn't able to meet him after all that, but if I was 60th or 70th in line, I would know my chances are pretty risky. Maybe it could have been handled better, but I do believe everyone was at least pretty well informed of what was going on. With that being said, it was a very long 27 hours, but also one of the best experiences of my life. To all those on here I may have spoke with or spent the night on Oxford with, what an exciting time! So glad to have spent it with everyone, and I hope to see you all sometime camping out for another Paul event or at a concert or something!
