Lady Madonna terrified me - I am only now getting it 'fluid' after about a month of practice. The thing about Paul's piano playing - and bass playing, for that matter - is Paul's ability to play these parts and sing the melody lines at the same time. Like Lady Madonna - I know many great piano players who play it with ease, but then ask them to sing it at the same time! Same with Day Tripper or Penny Lane on bass/vocals, all you fellow musicians out there know what I mean. But as far as piano playing, creativity surpassed technical abiltity most of time - music theorists are STILL debating the structure of the basic piano chords of Maybe I'm Amazed. they are baffled. Therein Paul's genius lies. Paul's magic wasn't just the voice or just the music - it was that magic synergy of both together.

"Backseat Of My Car" I made a new studio recording of 'Backseat' (link above) and that's what I came up with to sing, there is no real transcript of the lyrics in those backing bits anywhere... Does the remaster have a full lyric provided to finally put this to rest? Sing along with these lines and see if they fit!

Hey, Thanks! yeah, I play Paul in the show... Beatles to Wings to now, yeah! I just got back from a Broadway Stage show style audition for Paul down in LA California.. was like those old 'Beatlemania' casting calls from the late 70's you can now finally see on you tube. I got to Paul it out with a 'John' named Drew Harrison who is from a 'Frisco based band called the Sun Kings. Instant Brotherhood! I love Beatle People! Richard

The 2nd round bit you can also see on 'Rockshow' the concert film along with the winged one. The other side is shiny, and this side has some documentation... to me it seems like a form of 'dog tag'.. The bass on Good Times Comin' is also one of those great McCartney Moments (along with that silky chorus) which for me is well worth the price of admission. This is the same 'summer' that Paul has revisited often, in the interview with his daughter, and in a very melancholy way in the You Tell Me tune. That is also a great little thread of Macca Memory that dances in and out of his muse which makes GTC such a great little number. Must of been a very meaningful summer! CMD
