Thanks, it's getting actually worse, but I hope not for long. Needed to get back to university these days, but I can't. How are you? I needed a change and wanted to put Noel on my sig, I'm sorry.
Aww...have some chicken soup...maybe that will make you feel better.
Thanks, I already feel better. Drunk a lot of tea.
Was that drinking tea or eating it in brownies?
What do you guess?

RE: New Bob Dylan Album 'Tempest' September 11 Release Date
JordanOnTheRun:
I do class Dylan in the same league as McCartney, though Macca was better at music, Dylan was better with words.
Agree, even if you can find good examples for both on the other hand (great Dylan-tunes, great Macca-lyrics). Definitely in the same league.

RE: Concerts.
Wow, great setlist. A few of my all-time favorite songs ("Days", "Oklahoma USA", "Autumn Almanac") and many classics ("Sunny Afternoon", "Waterloo Sunset", "You Really Got Me"). Only one that's missing is "Lola".

Enjoyed it. His guitarist is fab, love how he starts off with just the guitarist then brings the whole band on! Great to hear the classics, he even jumps like Townshend with the guitar sometimes. Signed my CD for me too! Great.
Sounds great. For how long did he play and do you have the setlist?

RE: The Song We Were Singing
Yeah I agree with most of the things you said. It's sometimes destiny to hear the right song at the right time. And music brings emotions out of you, that's for sure.

You're right, the b-side "Back On My Feet" is brilliant and better than the a-side.

RE: The Song We Were Singing
AlexeySmirnov:
But why "particular" time? And why "any"? This words more suitable to the first way of understanding this lyrics. In second way they are unnecessary.
I guess it's because it happened very often, so that Paul said "It could happen any particular time". No matter what else, at "any particular time" they still will be back together and singing songs. I doubt that there is a meaning in every single word, the lyrics just fit well in the tune and in the song. Analogously you get what Paul means.

RE: The Song We Were Singing
In general that's what it means. Singing songs together connects people and bring the world together. What Paul talked about was his relationship to John Lennon. So I guess it means, no matter what issues they both had about different topics, at the end they both came together again to write and sing new songs.

Ok, THE WEATHER was way too general a theme, as was COLOURS!
Is that a dig at me?
A dig at me too. I came up with COLOURS.
