You may never read this but I hope an angel whispers in your ear "thank you" from me. I was laid off of my job at the end of 2011. At the start of the year I began a new project, to start my own business. I knew not what I wanted to do but found that I was pretty good at making jewelry so that was how I founded Creations by The Generations. It is a conglomeration of work from my mother, my daughter, and myself with hopes to have the grandchildren included as well. The reason for this note is to tell you that, being an admirer, I felt goodness from who you are and, meaning no disrespect to Nancy, how Linda was. I made a vow to always give back in anyway possible because I have lived a not so easy life till recent years, and have had aid from others. I began making awareness bracelets and anklets for the different causes such as breast cancer, colon cancer, brain cancer, and leukemia. To date I have given back to either a specific person, such as Diane a nurse that works with my sister that has stage 4 breast cancer, who we gave a check to via the sales of bracelets, to donating to Save the Ta Ta's via the Iron Skulls Motorcycle Association, and others as well. The point now is I'm understanding your beliefs in giving back. I hope that made sense. We haven't made money ourselves yet because I vend at many benefits and donate items for raffles and silent auctions besides a portion of the profits but its still an awesome feeling when handing the money over and seeing the look in their eyes. One day the profit will come. Thank you just for being a great person in my lifetime that I could look up to and continue to admire from afar. Denise Evans Owner of Creations by The Generations
