So I guess that if I did happen to see her, it would not be cool to ask her to sign my program.

darkstar:
yeah, how about being considerate of the people behind you and just leave the sign idea behind and go enjoy the show. Nothing worse then being stuck behind someone who insists on holding their sign up for 3 hours
I think this is the best advice! And to be honest, I would not want to go onstage in front of thousands of people.

Wow, that is so cool that Nancy sits in a regular seating area! It would be quite a shock to find her as your seat mate.

Where does Nancy usually sit?
I assume Nancy sits in the first row. Has anyone ever seen her? I have tickets for 2nd row center for the two D.C. shows. I am wondering who will be sitting in front of me!

RE: How does someone get dead-center front row seats?
Yes, I remember the days of the stage being closer to seats. I was back near the spotlight machine in 1989 but still had a good view. With this tour, it appears that the rising stage pushes the seats back further. I will see next Tuesday.

What is center first row like? Does Paul look at you? About how many feet are you from the stage?
-
RE: From which rows does Paul call fans on stage?
Are people holding up their signs during the dj and pre-show film? How annoying for the people behind them! Not to mention how expensive floor seats are!

RE: Any Tips or Advice for Making a Sign?
This is my first time ever seeing Paul this close I did catch his attention at Madison Square Garden in December 1989 as I was sitting in front of his spotlight. Also, in October 2005 I had a side stage seat and he looked over when some people left before the encore. Even though I am worried that I will miss the last metro train of the night (12:05 a.m.) due to getting out of the venue, I simply cannot walk out on Paul from the second row!!!! I will just hope and plan to wait for a taxi. I don't live too far from the venue; about a 20 minute metro ride including changing trains.

Who is taking metro? My seat is on the floor near the stage. It's not an aisle seat so I can't really squeeze out early to catch the last metro train for the night and besides I wouldn't want Paul to notice me leaving before he is finished! Does anyone know if there are taxi outside in case I can't make the last metro train of the night?

Wix Rocks, Section 121 is great!!! I had it in October 2005. Great view. I was in Row P, but it was close to the stage. I enjoyed observing the equipment before the show. Great view of Abe pounding away!

RE: Any Tips or Advice for Making a Sign?
Thanks all for your advice on signs. I have decided though that I don't have the nerves to go on stage and don't want the hassle of carrying a sign on public transport in heat and humidity, not to mention having to hold it waiting to get in the venue! If I still looked like I did in my 20's then perhaps something to the effect of "strong, sweet secretary fitting on your knee", then I would have more nerve! If I can get a glance or wave from my second row center seat, that is more than enough! Also, before I knew that the ticket broker upgraded me from 5th row to 2nd row, I was becoming concerned that people would be rude with their signs. Now, I hope the roving camera doesn't annoy me!

People, get to shows EARLY. Once again, people are complaining about still being on line to get in. I'd much rather be early, get in, and spend the waiting time inside rather than standing on line, but I guess some people think you just stroll in whenever you get there. Even friends of mine, who I plan to meet at the NJ show, just told me they plan to leave home at 4:30, go out to eat, then go to the show!!??
How early do you suggest getting to the venue before they allow people in?

Be careful of the presales and general sales and make sure the tickets are what you want.. Over the last couple of weeks in Vancouver, Ticketmaster has consistently released new tickets after the general sales first day and are much better than what was available on that first day and in some cases prices reduced. Very frustrating and completely unfair to the loyal fans...
So very true! I ended up giving three tickets away because they weren't exactly what I wanted. When you're over 60, you realise your lifespan.

Vicki, how did your tattoos turn out? Wow, Paul drew a heart on your wrist! I hope you made it to the tattoo shop with the ink still intact.

Any Tips or Advice for Making a Sign?
I am considering making a sign and any advice will be appreciated! How large a poster? What kind of ink? I'll be in second row center so it doesn't have to be huge.

Vicki, how did your tattoos turn out? Were you able to keep the ink from washing off or smearing? By the way, I am an inch shorter than you! I have second row center for the two D.C. shows so I should be able to see the stage. I paid much more than I would have liked and will be making payments for quite some time but I have waited since 1964 to have seats like this. I am a retired secretary and have thought of making a sign to tie in with "Temporary Secretary" like I am strong and sweet and I'll fit on your knee but am too shy to actually do it.

Hi all. I am the teacher Paul brought up on stage. I won't bore anyone with the details. It was, however, a dream come true to get to meet him. Since I went to the show solo, I didn't have anyone with me to take pictures. So... if anyone on here happened to take one that you wouldn't mind sharing, my email is vicks30@yahoo.com. Thanks

If any place was to let us know about the details, this is the place to share it I would think! I would love to hear the details Can you post a selfie of your wrist? You were so lucky! What row were you in?

As usual, here's my write-up of the Hershey show last night, including the best of the pics I managed to take. I hope you enjoy it, whoever reads it! --> http://rnrchemist.blogspot.com/2016/07/rockshow-part-2-paul-mccartney-live-at.html
I enjoyed your write up very much! Hershey Park certainly went all out. For fans spending the day at the amusement park and the concert, what a great day off they must have had.

I am hoping that I can time the D.C. shows right as far as getting in! A half hour can be miserable standing outside in heat and humidity though the shows are inside. No more baseball or stadium shows for me which is why I decided on the two D.C. shows.
