At 10:07, i suspected it was game over,
Personally, I never, ever give up that soon, even if the site seems to show that no tickets are available. Sometimes they will pop back up. Sometimes the websites are actually slow to load the inventory, and that plus the number of people trying to purchase, causes the tickets to pop up slowly. Also, Buffalo/First Niagara use Tickets.com which, as I keep posting, is an Evil website. I have no idea how the scalpers and bots get around being put into the virtual waiting room.
thanks, to clarify a bit, as i do agree with you that 10:07 was too early to quit. : i didn't bail out, but i knew that by 10:07 the probability was very high that all " public sale" tix had been spoken for (i.e., sold out), and were just subject to processing, except for perhaps the random failed credit card transaction that MIGHT put a few tix back in the pool. i stayed engaged - and refreshing-- with the site for 90 minutes, using 2 devices. hoping against hope that something would show on the screen. i even signed all the way out, then went back in again, just to try it "fresh". I'm not concerned though...there is a very active secondary market , and lots of supply - for various reasons - will become available in the week leading up to the show. Closer to the show, tix prices will be less than face value from some peeps that have to cancel, or scalpers that were priced to high to start. its not like 10-15 yrs ago when you'd have to go to the venue and try to score a ticket or 2 on the street. tickets.com is officially partnered with stubhub, so "immediate download" tix (via barcode) are as close to original issue authentic as you can get. thanks for your reply re the scalpers in the waiting room. makes sense from a numbers perspective, except that it seems that it would be quite easy for the box office to recognize so many out of town IP address, and at least be able to keep the majority of tickets with relatively local IP addresses, just as a means to reduce the chances of tix going to out of town scalpers. However, seems a lot of tix wound up with local scalper agencies anyway.

This is from the local news in Buffalo NY. That's me Sara on the news. I think it's awful that people were not able to get the opportunity to purchase tickets. Ticket brokers are the devil! http://wivb.com/2015/08/31/many-mccartney-fans-feeling-short-changed-after-sellout/ P.S. looking for 2 tickets anywhere in the building and not trying to spend a crazy amount of money!
Question about the reseller "bots" that grabbed most of the tickets before public could get to the purchase screen. Got blocked out on PM presale, same for arena presale. For public. I had an ipad and a laptop going so hopefully at least one would get in. -- was in waiting room like everyone, and let in at 5 seconds on both devices. 5 seconds. for 2 seats in "best available", the response was "quantity not available", at 30 second mark, tried for a single "best available". Same: Quantity not available". All singles gone also 1 minute in ? At 10:07, i suspected it was game over, i sipped my coffee , sat back, and just watched both devices in amusement (as in "wtf..?" lol, seriously !.) As every few minutes another line item of ticket prices would disappear from screen. Line item for Mid-priced tix disappeared first, then the $90+ gone, then the nosebleeds and $250 seats (level 100), then the Floor seats were the last left. Then, waved goodbye as the final line item slowly slipped past the horizon. For Bflo specifically, time for a post-mortem on the original issue primary sales: can someone explain the mechanics of how that happens if there is a) ticket limit per household and b) that orders are subject to cancellation if same name, same credit card, or same address, or same email, etc. Whether they're using bots or paying peeps in India to manually do the orders, how do THEY get in first, how and then also get around the buying restrictions ? It's probably a well-rehearsed surgical strike, but how ?

RE: Pittsburgh, PA, Consol Energy Center, July 7, 2014 - ARCHIVE
Update, Plan A worked, so we did Albany on Saturday. Result, my Plan B tux, 2 in section 102, row Q are available now. Not going to Pittsburgh, so, face value on the Pittsburgh pair if interested. Electronic tix I'd have to email the PDF to you. Or exchange in person within reasonable distance. I'm in western my, buffalo area. As for Albany, Terrific, but 4 songs from new album, so I think we lost one after 909, 1 or 2 others, haven't compared yet. The abbey road medley works so much better that the pepper reprise. All my loving , and I live her were great surprises. Intentionally didn't look a prior set list. We were side stage, which is an amazing view of the onstage shenanigans, and the piano right in front of us, I think piano was closer to our 17th row side stage than it was to peeps in first row. Also made the screens seem to be Godzilla size! But ouch, we actually felt the heat from the LALD fireworks and blasts...and it's like only 10 feet from his piano bench. How does he do a show with no water? Great night. Private message me re the pair in 102.

well, a bit of family emergency has caused a significant change in plans for weekend: in past 48 hours, another 2, and maybe a 2 more of my original group of 8 had to drop out. Ouch. So, i have my 2, yes, but now I need homes for at least 2 pairs of tickets for Albany: pair, Section 4 Floor row M, and pair, section 120, row S. There MIGHT be another pair in 118, where im sitting. I put them on stubhub also, but prefer to help someone here instead if helpful. lol, only a tiny bit of stress now, heading into a holiday weekend having to sell these now. PM me if ya like. electronic tickets so i can email the pdf files direct. thanks. fingers crossed here.
UPDATE, 10am: The pair in 120, and the pair on Floor sec 4 are still available. As mentioned, both pairs are also on Stubhub but much higher, and that's ONLY so I can break even, as SH charges both buyer and seller fees. Yes seriously. I think my 120's on SH are the least expensive pair there, or very close to it. Looks like 212 actual tix left on SH, but most are pairs, so thats really more like 106 pairs available. i hope that's helpful.

i still have pair for section 102, Row Q. im going to albany instead. i have the 102 pair on stubhub also, so you can see the authenticity for immediate download, but the SH markup price is crazy. let me know. Paypal would work best unless there's something better. im in western ny, so a reasonable drive for an exchange may be possible also. i hope that's helpful

FYI, i havent been very active in the boards here but have been a member for a few years. Im not sure how to go about doing this, so I'm putting the post here and perhaps someone can message me on where i should post this: I have seats in section 118 for myself, but I also have a pair of floor seats that I got on the first day of sale in section 4. Original intent was to get extra for friends who were working on the day of sale, but it turns out they can't go now. You see what they go for on stubhub but im just looking to perhaps cover my hotel and gas/tolls. If interested, send me a message. They are electronic tickets but i can easily send you a picture to verify authenticity. i didnt review prior posts in this thread so im not sure if i can post this here..im sure admin or someone will advise if I cant.
Hi...please do not post ticket sales on PM.COM message forum if ticket price exceeds the actual value that you're looking to recoup. Thank you.
thanks for fyi. i had never posted before, so wasnt sure. thanks for bringing to my attention. i did see the vaceat when i went to other thread. ill try to edit the original posting. didnt intend to exploit anything, just wasnt sure of process. on the lighter side, was offering them to fans here rather than to have to put some obscene price on them just to get breakeven. ill do redact or re-edit the original post though. thanks.
