I'm sure I speak for all of us tattooed girls when I say I'd LOVE a bit in the DVD extras about the fans who got to meet Paul. Not just those of us who got tattooed, but people who went up on stage for hugs or to dance, sing, etc. I think it'd be a great show of how much Paul loves his fans!
It would be fine by me if the tattoos are in the extras. How will you feel if only one of you should make any DVD that might come from this tour? Which one should it be? I'd include Audrey and put her in it because she is the original.
I'm with Sarah on this one. I would not be upset at all if someone else ended up in a possible DVD from this tour. It would be fantastic to be on there, but we don't even know if there will be a DVD, especially so soon after Good Evening New York City. I really think that after meeting Paul, nothing could ever make me unhappy again! Especially watching someone else being happy. There's definitely no hostility here, I think we're all just really excited for each other because we know how amazing it is!
the ones who got tattooed stick together! we all have love! i could care less if i made the dvd! or if any one did! i had my moment and i have it on tape and in my head and on MY THIGH every day! plus my sister and her husband are in the last space with in dvd! its all good in the hood, but if it comes out, IM STILL buying it! i love macca so much i need to own it all!

i agree! has all the anti tattoo dvd people watched the other dvds? majority of it is the fans in the audience. sorry i just dont see how you can be a macca fan and be so ANTI buying the dvd because a few people got tattoos! why the negativity? i dont get it! lets spread LOVE not HATE

I have absolutely no problem with the signing, whatsoever. If I could get Paul to sign my arm or back, I'd definitely get it tattooed and I'm a male... I was actually interested during the portion of the show where the "Flaming Pie Girl" was signed. Of course I was a little jealous that it wasn't me, but I was definitely happy that another fan was given that experience.
thanks!!!!!!!!!!!!! check out the video i made....

Will need to read reviews first to see if I the tattoos are in the extras or not.
I find this puzzling. Would a 1 - 2 minute on-stage signing really take so much away from you enjoying a nearly 3 hour concert DVD that you wouldn't buy it?? Can't you just fast forward? Doesn't matter I guess - To each his own. Just seems like such a negative/downer attitude to a Paul concert (which is quite a deliriously happy experience). Ah well. If he comes out with a tour DVD - and it highlights tattoo signings, I'll buy your copy.
i dont get it! why all the hate? why is it bothering some people? and that its getting "old"? i mean are you going to every show on this tour? or did you see it happen once? when he picks some one to come on stage, they represent every one! all macca fans.... is it old when he brings kids up on stage to sing and dance with him? no ... so i do not see the difference! i mean yea alot of the signs now are asking for tattoos.... i only held mine up during song breaks, and if he was looking in my direction! and i got yelled at by a lady to put it down DURING THE PART that paul talks about how he loves the signs... and then he read mine out loud and they put it on the big screen! if i listened to the sour puss lady than i wouldnt have a tattoo... you paid for the seat, you dont have to sit in it and when you walk in with a sign and the guard doesnt say anything, then you have every right to hold it up! i dont see it any different as when there are 6 foot tall men in front of me because im 5'1 lol so i mean i always have a hard time seeing!! but seriously this tattoo thing has become part of the show, and when paul doesnt want to do it, he wont! he CALLS THE SHOTS! he is SIR PAUL! i mean i think now that he is getting older he really wants to make the most of it and meet fans during the show and make a dream come true. and if you have a sign and you dont get picked... hasnt your dream come true already??? you are at a paul mccartney concert after all!!! thats a dream in itself! i mean and if you have a sign, your prob up close, so that is a dream too, to see paul from the floor!!! lets all just love the whole show and let us girls enjoy our moment with paul and our tattoos that remind us every day! thanks

I think anyone can ask to have whatever they want signed and Paul can choose to sign whoever/whatever he wants -- just that the tattoo thing has lost it's originality. And I have yet to see a man or an older woman get signed (maybe they just aren't into tattoos and so aren't asking -- or maybe Paul just likes the cute young girls. Go figure. : ) If I ever get to go to another Paul show, I want a stuffed Paul doll for him to sign -- or a stuffed Hofner pillow -- or something. But it needs to be something different that would catch his eye.
marta from philly is in her 40's i heard, i am 25/26 in a week.... if it wasnt original or if it didnt catch his eye, it wouldnt work! i mean, when this tour is over, i think he wont do the tattoo thing any more so for the mean time, its working and im glad because i made my dream come true, i hugged, kissed and touched a hofner bass ... oh and it was PAUL MCCARTNEY
^ i wanted him to sign my arm, but i needed a catchy saying that rhymed for my sign, and my DAD who hates tattoos came up with it! he is 61, he even paid for the tattoo.. he is so proud
and here i go again too paul would never ever do it if he didnt want to or if it made him look bad! if you saw and heard what he says on stage when i say sign my arm he says nooooo you said thigh! so he wanted to!!!! he enjoys doing this! its not really about the tattoo for me, its me meeting paul AND TO NOTE I WAS WEARING SHORTS UNDER MY DRESS!!!! he has done this about 8 or more times so far! so get use to it! its something he enjoys! im sure he has signed over 100000000000000000000 album covers and tshirts! why not skin? so i can turn it into a tattoo! i have had an apt for about 5 months to get my entire back done of the beatles and this theme i have up, so yea i could print it out, and tattoo it, but if i could get to meet paul, and get a tattoo FROM HIM im going to do it! its not every day you can say you met SIR PAUL MCCARTNEY and have a reminder of it EVERY DAY! i think its neat! different and i wouldnt take it back! plus paul likes it! he PICKED ME not his crew
