I don't know any more other than Richard made this statement. Who knows, he's a showbiz reporter, perhaps he was told something?, I don't know.

Richard Wilkins said on The Today Show this morning "Don't tell anyone I said this, but Paul McCartney will be touring Australia in 2017!".

Sooooo . . A friend of a friend in the biz just told me Paul's people are searching for a Melbourne performance space. Who knows. 'If' anything happened it wouldn't be till very late this year, most probably March next year, which is peak concert season.

I heard the same. Paul's people had an advance team checking out venues around the nation. ....again....AROUND THE NATION.

I'd heard the rumor that the Adelaide press had published, but this was Melbourne mentioned. We live in hope.

I ended up on the Daily Mail, even though they assumed -Why so?- I didn't notice him http://www.dailymail.co.uk/tvshowbiz/article-2661522/Sir-Paul-McCartney-Nancy-Shevell-high-spirits-begin-72nd-birthday-romantic-stroll.html Incredible!

Really mate? Not cool. Most fans know you don't hang around Paul's homes, for security reasons and to not upset Paul's neighbors. Writing messages on the front wall of Paul's house might have been done in 1967, but in 2014 it's just plain disrespectful, rude and lame. You seem surprised no other fans were around?, that's because respectful Paul fans know better. Greg.

Say more! You know you wanna! Edit: Saw your post on another forum! Fingers crossed!

Lets keep them crossed, if a Japan visit is anounced, that will be our best chance of getting a visit down here by Paul, i have heard one other whisper .. but i'm not going to give that away, i've had my hopes raised too many times, only to have them dashed.

I can confirm to I have heard Japan is on the cards to. Does it mean he will come here who knows. He toured Japan in 2002 and didnt come here so it might mean nothing.

      True.

Are you very happy with regards to a previous post, or very happy with regards to something specific? Perhaps even pertaining to the threat title???

Just .. ummm, happy .. at nothing specific. Tho, just 'maybe' some more dates will be anounced, that 'may' make things a bit more hopeful that 'if' Paul could get down here, it would be more likely. I still won't be changing my plans to travel OS to see Paul tho .. not yet Greg

lonelyroad got his wish! I'm not even bugged about hearing it again....have you SEEN the set this evening?!?!

Seriously, who would have thought in 2009 or so that we would get 'Junior's Farm', 'Listen To What', '1985', 'Another Day' and 'Hi Hi Hi' in one gig. Can hardly believe this is happening.

Actually .. when you put it like that

"Gah! Complainer." Gah, entitled to an opinion x Of which i may be able to have a more balanced one, if Paul would ever bring his show to Australia, instead of touring your neck of the woods ad infinitum Hmmm, "Hi Hi Hi", i may just rescind that moan

Gah! .. four new Beatle songs, and only 'one' new solo song. When will i ever learn to not get my hopes up for more solo stuff : I mean, a John song like 'Mr Kite' at the expense of his own work? It's feeling a bit 'icky' i like Johns songs, with Johns voice, 'A day in the life' never sounded right to me with Paul singing it. Still, whoo hoo for 'Listen to what the man said'

How many premium members do you think there were? I think 3000 would be my guess. I'm number 2527 and I joined in August of this year. So with 3,000 people to accomadate, do we all think that they would go into production, make a limited quantity, and ship them for free, all because they ended some memberships. I know MPL represents Paul, and Paul loves his fans more than most artists. But I think a gift in physical format is asking too much. don't get me wrong,I want it to happen. And I would be ecstatic if it did. But they're not going to put something in the goodie bag if it means loosing money. They are a business after all. However, the customer is always right....

It was easy enough for MPL to take our money, i'm sure they have the wherewithall to be able to send the 'Pioneer suckers' something.

A total refund would be the honerable thing to do, otherwise, yeh .. Paul fleeced us, the site never got out of BETA mode, paid members were told our subscriptions would begin from that date. Didn't happen, service not provided. Full refund please MPL.

Sorry but I don't see how most pioneers/premium folks here were in any way fleeced. Most people bought premium memberships a year ago. And if you did, you got nearly 12 months of benefit out of the site, beta or not. Pretending you didn't -- especially when so many people are in the midst of complaining about all the premium features they want restored -- makes no sense. "I want my money back! And please bring back the Jukebox -- after you've refunded my money." The only people who deserve a refund are those who signed up in the past few months. The rest of us bought a year-long membership. After nearly a year, it got discontinued. So it lasted as long as you thought it was going to last when you signed up.

Sorry, you're wrong. The admin's of the site made it known that because of teething problems, our memberships/subscriptions would not actually start until the site was moved out of BETA mode, and delivering fully whatever it was supposed to. That never happened. All who paid deserve a full refund.

I have a question that I'd like an official or, at least, semi-official response to: I'm fairly sure there was a message posted from the webmaster that confirmed that the membership period for each member would be reset when the site exited its beta testing phase. That means that our membership hasn't actually started. So, if the package has been pulled, we should get refunds, surely, because the membership never actually started. If anyone from the website is actually taking note of these comments, could I please make the following plea regarding the proposed package of goodies: I don't think a download of Live Kisses is a nice gesture. By definition, Premium Members are gonna be hardcore McCartney fans, many of whom have to own everything. That's why they paid for Premium Membership in the first place. Consequently, I think most will want to own the DVD/BR of Live Kisses if only to keep their collections complete. I'd be hoping for/expecting something genuinely exclusive. Isn't that the point of PREMIUM membership???

I do not want a Kisses download. I don't even like Kisses so why would I want a download. I'd much prefer my $60--if anybody is even listening, which I don't think they are.

A total refund would be the honerable thing to do, otherwise, yeh .. Paul fleeced us, the site never got out of BETA mode, paid members were told our subscriptions would begin from that date. Didn't happen, service not provided. Full refund please MPL.

Paul really does this like no other, a HUGE announcement, and then the project falls flat when he looses enthusiasm for it. I wouldn't mind, but it's the pure deception, and leading the fans on that should be so beneath him, and it happens time and again. The web site and the whole HP cloud hoopla is a perfect example. The one that 'infuriates' me the most is the remaster/reissue series, the speed of them coming out is one thing, but in the original MPL press release it was stated in black and white that 'all' of Paul's catalog was going to be released in this deluxe, expanded form, so I made an informed decision to pay the big money and purchase the deluxe versions, as I would have had a set, now in dribs and drabs we're hearing from his manager that it's only going to be approx eight albums released in this manner. The blatant dishonesty around Paul astounds me (Melbourne 2002 anyone?)
