All tickets have names of the buyers on them. How come there are hundreds of them on viagogo? Don't people know that if they buy from them , they won't be admitted? Tauron Arena staff REALLY check the IDs.

RE: Paul to play secret gig in Liverpool

I live in Liverpool and went to LIPA today but couldn't get in so I stood outside for 4 hours to see if I could see him afterwards but I just got sunburned lol (on the upside I'll have a nice tan next week). Missed out on Echo Arena tickets for December so I'm really hoping to see him tomorrow but I don't know what time the gig is. Does anyone have any clues?
from FB
Paul will play at Cavern Club Liverpool today at 2pm. Space is EXTREMELY limited. Tickets will be made available for free from the Echo Arena Liverpool Box Office from 10am this morning on a first come, first served basis. For entrance into The Cavern you will need photo ID, the wristband and personalised ticket. Tickets are non transferable and void if transferred. NO tickets will be available from The Cavern.
The queue for entrance into The Cavern will open at 12 noon. Doors scheduled to open at 1PM. All times are approximate and subject to change. No under 16s allowed.

So much for a fresh setlist lol. Other than the brand new songs and "909" not much different.
It is typical and should come as no surprise. Three to Four songs off the latest album to promote it which is good but the rest is the same old stuff which is a bit of a shame.
Couldn't agree more Yankeefan. I'm as big of a Macca fan as anyone but I'm not a fanboy/groupee in any way. I could care less if Johnny Depp or Orlando Bloom was there. I was just interested in the setlist and as usual, very disappointed.
Except the 4 new songs from the Egypt Station sessions there was nothing there to get excited about. He has done almost all the songs countless times before except for "909" that Maccaroni mentions.
Just don't understand why Paul doesn't want "more" of his "very good to great" Solo songs better known. Without any research, here would be my dream "secret gig" setlist (in any order). I'm even giving "choices" from different albums. If I did some research, I could come up with plenty more that would be great to hear.
1.World Without Love - #1 song in 1964 he gave to Peter and Gordon
2. P S I Love You - similar arrangement as the Beatles' version
3. For No One - only done on one tour
4. I Will - only done one tour from my recollection
5. When I'm 64 - great sing-along for the crowd
6. Eat as Home or Smile Away from Ram
7. Getting Closer or Love Awake (from Back to the Egg)
8. Don't Let It Bring You Down or Cafe on the Left Bank (from London Town)
9. Take It Away or Somebody Who Cares (from Tug of War)
10. Footprints or Move Over Busker (from Press to Play)
11. Put It There or My Brave Face (from Flowers in the Dirt)
12. Hope of Deliverance (that's an easy one from Off the Ground as he has done it before multiple times with his band)
13. Little Willow or Beautiful Night (from Flaming Pie)
14. Promise to You Girl or Too Much Rain (off Chaos)
15. Ever Present Past or That Was Me (off Memory Almost Full)
16. Wings of a Nightingale (hit written by Paul for the Everly Brothers)
17. Early Days ( from the New Album)
Now add in the new songs from the Egypt Station sessions and this would be my "dream" type concert. There are many other songs that you could substitute that would be just as exciting to hear. But this would take time and rehearsals something that Paul obviously doesn't want to do. It's a shame in my opinion.
I would only add "Tomorrow"

Got GA early entry!
What weather should I expect in Krakow at that time of year? I’ll be flying in, will the flights be disrupted by snow or is that only in the UK that things grind to a halt with snow?
Hi RockyRaccoon68,
i too will travel in from the U.K. I’ve visited Poland many times in the last 20 years plus. Poland gets snow every winter without fail but they deal with it far better than we do and are well geared up for it. I’d expect the temperature to hover around the zero plus or minus 5C at that time of year. I’m in GA EE too and plan to queue for 2 hours + to be sure of a good spot. Be sure to wrap up well. A GA show in Winter will be odd because having wrapped up well outside, it will be much warmer inside! At Paris Bercy 2016, I queued for 6 hours in pouring rain but at least it wasn’t cold!
i routinely queue from early for Standing Shows And always go for Standing if available (even if gigging solo) because I always find the atmosphere to be so much better. I’ve done so many times for the Stones, most recently in Warsaw 2 weeks ago. I believe this is the only European Show anounced so far with floor standing.
On flying, I’ve flown to Poland a few times with heavy snow on the ground and they always keep the runways very clear.
just 2 hours? Ju might be surprised!

Top category in Vienna is 240 Euro and all I was offered in the pre-sale were seats on the "Nordtribüne" on the right side of the stage, not even on the floor. So I let it pass, no way I'm paying that much money for those seats. Maybe I'll have more luck in the regular sale which starts on Friday.
all categories were available!
Yes, all categories were available, but none came up with floor seats, only seats on the side (Nord) and rear (Ost), which IMO are not very good seats. To even offer Nordtribüne - which only allows side views of the stage and from where you probably can hardly see Paul when he's sitting at the piano - as part of the top category is quite frankly a joke.
there were floor seats. You had to keep refreshing the page. I got a floor seat

Thank you all very kindly! I think it will be GA with GC or maybe even GC Early Entrance etc. Live Nation is making lot of sectors with expensive tickets, I hope that I will get my ticket before scalpers. And hope that we, fans from Maccaboard, will get them instantly! If you want I can help you buying tickets by LiveNation presale
Thank you once again, I am so happy. I can't think about anything right now, I can't focus on my tasks, haha!
Live nation presale is one day AFTER ticket master presale. Also all tix will have to have the name of the person taking part printed on the ticket. This should stop reselling

I am really worried..
Don't be. It is an amazing venue with unique atmosphere which adds A LOT to the concert experience. I have been there once - saw The Rolling Stones there in 2014. Since I hadn't been there before, I was worried about a lot of things. For instance I had a standing ticket (just like now for Paul) and from the pictures I was worried that since there are no barriers between the lower sectors and the standing pit (which was sold out in seconds in pre-sale, no ticket went to the regular sale) except of the low hedges, that people will invade the pit and it will be extremely overcrowded. The reality was that it was all very calm and civilized. There were a lot of helpful organizers everywhere, I haven't seen any problems of that kind (or any other). As for the distance - yes, it is a bit of walking and then a couple of stairs, but nothing that would make you tired or anything. It is absolutely fine. Another thing that worried me were toilets, I expected a couple of movable cabins with long queues. There is actually a little building with enought of regular (and clean) toilets. Yes, it is at the top of the stairs, but again, it is no big physical effort. I guess there are another toilets on the other side too. So again, don't worry, just look forward to it, you are in for a treat!
Thank you for the lovely reassuring post. I am looking forward to the gig. On the topic of toilets... Is there access to them while queuing befor the gig?

Is it a long way to the stage from the entrance at Waldb?hne??
Yes. After the ticket control you have to walk quite a bit til you see the arena. From there you have to walk down the 88 steps from the top to the bottom. https://golocal-media.de/728e111c952a6e48c28655d67427092b/700/435eec58ea099728.jpg http://www.berlinonline.de/binaries/asset/image_assets/3595231/ratio_16_9/1426237006/460x345/

I queed for 3 hours the first night in Amsterdam and got 2nd row almost dead centre. Ran past many on my way in though! As long as the weather is decent queeing is a great part of the build up to the show I think!
Queuing is fun but what terrifies me is the run to the stage when they open the doors.

The last year in Amsterdam I was standing in the centre of the 4th row with a regular ticket. I wouldn't find it worth it paying multiple the price for being 1-2 meters closer. But it is a matter of an opinion of course.
Did you queue very early?
