I also have to add that along Aikenhead Road ( a long road on the way to Hampden Park) has a Paul banner on every lampost!!! I am now wondering if I can scale lamposts!!! The one at Asda looks most accessible!
Hey I'm planning to park on Aikenhead Road. Is that the norm? Can you advise? I want to be facing Rutherglen so that I don't have any hassle heading back home to Edinburgh.
Very unlikely to get parked on Aitkenhead Rd. It will be coned off. Side streets are ok. It all depends on when you are planning to arrive.

A few folk have told me that they might give away the cheap seats next week. This happened with the stones and george michael.
I hope they do, wanted to get a ticket for my brother and dad, but can't afford to just now. Even at £25 each on lastminute.com to much for me just now, don't get paid until a week after the gig. Also keeping an eye on ebay for a last minute bargain. How do you find out if they are giving away tickets?
the stones gig tickets were given to ticket office staff as many as they wanted and i kid you not the george michael tickets were given away around the local area. right time and place i suppose why not try your luck with a tout outside you may be able to name your price!

Food wise around hampden there are two pubs at opposite ends of the stadium. The beechwood just behind a row of shops.(Pub Food) Its on Aitkenhead rd. At the other end on cathcart rd there is The Clockwork which has its own brewery and again pub food. Asda supermarket right next to stadium too.

what time is the show expected to finish?
around 11pm I'd imagine...that tends to be curfew time but we shall see if he goes over that one...that would in theory mean in coming on at about 8:15pm to get his set going and finished in time for curfew, trying to think if any gigs have lasted past 11pm at Hampden but cannae think of any, if they have they have finished pretty close after 11pm
Always 11pm curfew

I am seated in block A5, in the stands - all I could afford unfortunately Does anyone have any idea what the view is likely to be like from these seats??
Hey I'm in A3, Row J. You still have good seats. You'll not miss anything from there. I would much rather be seated in the stand than on the flat. I am having a trial run through to Hampden next week. I am taking the car on the night so going to see what my options are. I know I will have a bit of a walk but how long I will see. :
If you are going thro early enough you maybe able to park quite close to hampden as there are many residential streets around about it

didnt that band 'mgmt' or whatever their called support him recently? my wife likes them so it would be nice if it was them!
Yeah they supported him in Boston....I was gutted I couldnt go to that one because I was more eager to go for them than Paul, The Script were crap. If he is having support acts which I hope he is, I would prefer he had local talent, there are a few great Scottish bands out there
Seen The Script when they supported u2 in dublin. As they were a local band they got a great reception. My wife thought they were good I cant comment I was at the bar drinking the black stuff. Nutini would be a good shout or U2
