Anyone know how the seats are numbered on the floor? We got row 4, section C (Center I am presuming) seats 22-24. Seems like an awfully long row!!

"He Mainly Listens to Paul"
During a conversation with a few friends, the subject of music came up. We were all talking about our favorite artists and what we listen to on a regular basis. As I was listing all my favorites, my wife interjects and says: "he mainly listens to Paul". At first, I slightly objected, saying that while Paul was far and away my favorite musician of all time, I do indeed listen to other artists. However, when I really started thinking about it I realized she was right. I really do just listen mostly to Paul's music! And what's wrong with that?

RE: Was V&M another near miss for Macca?
You hit it on the head when you talked about the superior live versions from "WOA". That album is easily my favorite output from Paul ever and the versions of the excellent V&M songs are the centerpiece. The problem is that the studio versions pale by comparison, which is why I rarely listen to the album. If WOA didn't exist, would I feel differently? Perhaps.

RE: Paul's Albums: Rank 'Em
Been listening to Tug of War all week. Keep in mind that when that album was released, Rolling Stone gave it 5 stars and called it "McCartney's masterpiece" claiming that only Band on the Run came close in terms of his solo output to that point. Having said all that, I don't consider Rolling Stone's opinions all that much, but I am surprised that Tug of War is not near the top of more of your lists. It is an amazing album and Paul's voice....well, words cannot describe...

Been a Paul fan my whole life (like many of you). I have seen him over 25 times and will see him once again in Greensboro on the 30th. This time I went for the VIP package, including the soundcheck. With me will be my wife & son (he's only 17, but this will be his 5th show!) Cannot wait. See you all there!!

Worst crowd I've ever seen. I'm pretty sure my friend and I were the front row for a few songs. Plus notes, got waved to and my sign on the big screen.
As I stated earler, my section (204) was up and dancing and having a great time. McCartney made several positive comments about the crowd and he does not say that just to be nice.
I'm glad your section was, the lower levels were terrible. There was maybe only a handful on the left side standing and dancing. Section 2 seemed to be the best section. They kept standing even when half of section 3 would sit, and Paul always talks about how good the crowd is at every show I've been to, even if they are pretty bad.
I was in row G in section 3 and didnt sit down the entire night!! Everyone is my section was up and rocking from the opening notes of Venus & Mars to "the closing note of "The End". I thought the crowd was great, but like all shows it all depends on those people around you. Where were you sitting???

RE: Charlotte, NC - Time Warner Arena - 7/28/10 - ARCHIVE
Last night was my 20th Paul show and easily the most special. Took my 13 year old son, who was raised on Paul's stuff and is finally old enough to take to a show. I had tears in my eyes all night as he screamed, danced and sang along to ALL the songs. It was an incredible evening and one I will never foget. Paul is, without question, the best there was, is and ever will be. Thank you Paul.

I keep hearing different things. Does anyone know for sure? Either way, I think you have great seats. I don't know for sure, but I think the concensus on this thread has been that the seating is right to left on the floor (if facing the stage) and left to right on the floor (if facing the seats). Have you seen something different? This seems to be the way most of the arenas are numbered so I would be surprised if that is not the way it is here. I think you're right and I have seat 12 in FL3, so it looks like I am on the outside of the section. Anyone ever sit there before? Good view of the stage? I'll be in row 8.

When I've been to the arena, if you're on the stage looking out, then seat #1 is is on the left. So, from looking at the seating chart, seat #1 in section 1 will be right next to section 112. Hope that helps.
That good news. Thanks Barb (I'm in F3, Row G, Seat #1 so I was worried.)
