I feel like I'm the only person here going to the Miami show. It's lonely over there. I'm trying to convince myself that I deserve a road trip and a ticket for Tampa. My checkbook disagrees

Oh the things we do for Paul. Sometimes you just have to bite the bullet and look at it like an experience and making those memories are priceless. I just sold my 2 original tix and upgraded to 3rd row. Paid way too much. The broker fees killed me they are making a fortune!!!ð??¡ð??¡ð??¡

Thanks everyone!!! Ends up we are still going after all... after some thoughtful planning, we were able to adjust our dates .. still with a $236 loss though. I guess not as bad as we originally anticipated....But our airline wouldn't budge on waiving the fees unfortunately. We had to pay a slight difference in airfare, but it was the fee that crushed us. Hotel was just a switch in days.

It's nice to get a copy of the new album but in my experience before with these things, they don't come on release day and at times are weeks past. So I don't really care so much, I will get mine immediately and figure out what to do with the spares at a later time

My husband and I may have to scrap this trip By changing our flight on way home...plus hotel, that's an additional $700. Travel insurance doesn't cover this either because it's not health or weather related. Anyone have an email or contact for MPL for me to reach out to? I know I'm not alone on this issue. It's just very frustrating and upsetting that we planned our Florida vacation around this show.. then it's rescheduled just a few weeks after announcement once plans have been made.

I am vey sorry that you and your husband got screwed. Hate that the airline industry is so bad that making what should be a simple change is so expensive. I don't know what your hotel situation was but I know I never book a hotel that I can't cancel the reservation until almost the day of scheduled arrival. Good luck with MPL but sadly I think you will get no satisfaction. They will just say you can get refund of your tickets and it is not their problem regarding travel expenses.

______________________________________________________ Like Yankeefan, I feel bad for you. If I lived in Miami, I would offer my house for you to stay. As it is, I live in the Tampa area and would gladly make that same offer. I have room for you and your husband but Tampa to Miami however is like a 5-6 hours drive. Hopefully, you will find a decent alternative.

I'm so sorry as well. I do live in Miami, but I'd have to move over and put you in bed with my husband and I! I'm sure you can sell your ticket since the show is sold out other than VIP tix. I know someone who would be interested in a single ticket, but I'm guessing you want to get rid of both.
