alright now I'm getting excited! I just recieved my tickets in the mail sec 225. I was thinking that "here today" would be great to hear. I've seen that it's been in the set lately. Very underrated, much better live me thinks. I've been a Beatles fanatic since I was 15 (im 40) and I grew up with Wings so this is a long time coming for me to pay personal tribute to a man who has enriched my life. I play guitar and have deep of love of music. How much does Paul have to do with that? It's immeasurable. Can't wait to be in same room with frckn Paul Mccartney!

well what do I know, I've only lived in Charlotte for twenty years. Of course I've heard of NoDa. Not exactly Greenwich Village but it's all we've got lol. I don't recall saying Charlotte is without music venues. I don't recaLl saying nobody likes music here. I do recall hearing people complain and I do recall reading about the problems promoters have attracting indie bands to our music venues. Notice how many artists skip Charlotte altogether for Raleigh? Raleigh? I'm rooting for Charlotte but come on, we can do better here. Ask a promoter of one of these venues what he or she thinks. We can do better.

I have heard during Radiohead show in Charlotte back in 2008 that a lot of fans were upset at the amount of chatting. This was confirmed by the numerous bootleg recordings of that show. More chatting than usual lol. My theory is Charlotte is a banking town, and although I love it here, I find that people who just focus on finance/ economics tend to be a little lax in the appreciation of something like music, no? Unless it's referring to making money. I know this is stereotypical, but Charlotte just needs to develope a second act culturally. A thriving music scene would help. I hear bands complain that all the club crowds want is bar bands playing radio hits. Sounds like a bunch of drunk bankers to me. They never were too hip about music...too busy studying economics lol. Because of the economy Charlotte has come to a crossroads...go by way of Detroit or have a rebirth and redefine itself. I have faith. I work at an arthouse theatre here and I meet lots of independent filmakers who are investing in this area. I like that. Better days ahead. Step aside banker Bob btw, if Paul sings.... well..... damn near anything, I am going to weep lol

Hello All Just wanted to add I can't wait for show in Charlotte! I have been a big Beatles and Paul admirer for most of my life and it will be a real thrill to actually see him. To the fella who said Charlotte has lame crowds- I somewhat agree with that, but I doubt having a Beatle in town playing a concert will produce a sleepy audience. There are exceptions.
