I don't know what the "protocol" or whatever for this type of thing is around here, but if anyone has any idea where I could find an audio recording of this show it would be greatly appreciated. I've been looking all over and can't seem to find one. Seems strange considering the size of the crowd that no one taped it. It was one of the best nights of my life and I would love to have an audio souvenir of it.

RE: Paul, on your next tour, please come to ____________ .
yojimbo2001:
Dear Paul McCartney & dot com: I have been watching your tour schedule(s) over the last few year and have noticed something missing. A Seattle/Tacoma date. I was born into a pre-Beatles world in May 1960. At the tender age of 4, I asked my Mom to buy the "Meet the Beatles" album for me in 1964. She said NO. I grew up on Beatles songs as a child and begged my parents to take me to The Beatles show in Seattle when I was about 5 or 6. They said NO. I did not ask my parents again about going to any concert until the George Harrison tour in 1974. I begged and pleaded and came up with every good reason I should go - but they said NO, I was too young to go on my own. In 1976, I asked for permission to go to your "Wings Over the U.S." tour when it came to the Kingdome. My parents still said NO. I didn't argue at all. They asked me why and I said I was going anyway. They thought it over and finally said YES I could go. That was an incredible show and was one of the best ever sounding shows held at the Kingdome. Unfortunately, you did not come back to Seattle until 1990 but I was there, too. My daughter was born in 1997 and grew up listening mainly to the Yellow Submarine album (over and over again) until finally allowing me to play other Beatles albums for her. She was such a big Beatles fan that when you announced the 2002 tour stop in the Tacoma Dome, I decided to take her (because who knew how long it would be before you came back to the Seattle/Tacoma area). She loved it and so did I. The next year she came across an ad for Ringo's 2003 All Star Tour and she told me "we have to go see Ringo". And we did. You also came back Seattle Key Arena in 2005 and we were there again. I have seen all 4 appearances you have made in Seattle and my daughter has now seen you twice. We have both seen Ringo 3 times. Long story short, I am respectfully requesting a Seattle/Tacoma stop on your current tour. Please don't say NO. I know of at LEAST two fans who will buy tickets for this show.
Here's a third. I actually just came here hoping to find if maybe, MAYBE, he'd come back to Seattle this time around. I've been a fan since I was 12 (I'm now 28 ) I'm one of I'm sure many many people who's lives where literally changed by The Beatles, but I've never seen Paul live. Couldn't afford it in 2002, and I don't remember what happened in 2005, probably just bone headed-ness on my part. I think I foolishly just thought "Oh, I'll see him next time", I've been kicking myself about both ever since. I really hope I didn't miss my chance.
