Guys, that's nice in theory but that would be taking away seats from people who already bought them. You gotta be diligent, constantly watching these sales if you don't want to miss anything. I got my email late too... but I'd been watching the sites regularly just in case.
I wouldn't think of taking seats away from those who were lucky enough to get them. We all know that seats are always held back for various reasons. That being said, I was the first one on another board to announce that tix would be made available shortly as I saw a commercial for the concert on TV. I didn't want any of my Paul friends to miss out. I checked this site, the Red Sox site and the Live Nation site over and over to see when tix would go on sale, but eventually I had to go to sleep... I was sure I'd be notified by email by PM.com, though, being a member. I was hoping that they'd worked out the email problems that occurred 2 years ago when I purchased Yankee stadium tickets. I am aware that the Premium memberships were done away with, and that that wouldn't afford me extra early notice. I was just venting about the $50.00. I guess 2 years wasn't enough time to fix the email problem... :
Hi. We email out, update the Maccaboard and Paul's social networks as soon as we get the information. The emails can take a few hours to distribute as it is being sent to literally hundreds of thousands of fans across the US. The best advice we can give is as soon as you see a date you would like to go to - in this instance in Boston - keep checking Paul's website and social network sites as often as possible. As soon as we get the information we pass it on to you.
Sorry, I may be naïve as to the workings of the "hundreds of thousands" of emails that were sent out to the U.S., but why wasn't notice of the presale posted on Paul's website in advance of the sale? The Red Sox and Live Nation posted their presale info in advance. That way we'd all have a chance to purchase the best tickets. Or perhaps people living closer to Boston should have received emails first, so that the scalpers throughout the rest of the country didn't get first pick. I may get heat over this, but I believe many of Paul's fans got the shaft, such as the member who never even received an email. I wonder if Paul is aware of how his website handles the presales...
