Paul, just wanted to send some love your way. Life is very stressful for you lately and I'm very sorry for that. Things will come right in the end. I believe in you Paul. Chin up. Rita in Oz

RE: Paul, Come To Australia
Glad to hear I'm not the only "older" one here Chrissie. It's pretty cool to have someone like Paul who still transcends the generation gap. My daughter says she has a number of students in some of her college classes in our age group. She says it makes the classes much more interesting to have people there who were actually around during the events being discussed in class. Nice to be appreciated. LOL I see that the presale for the U.S. tour are on sale starting tomorrow. $51.50-$259.25 is the price range. I have to see if I can get a decent seat for my Emily. I really want her to get to see Paul this time around. Still with the rest of you... waiting to hear the word on Australia. Oz definitely is due. Come on Paul, come to Australia, that magic land down under. Rita

RE: Paul, Come To Australia
I've read and watched everything I could get my hands on about Australia, including documentaries and Aussie films. My husband says I know more about the country than he does. ) I will keep in touch, definitely. I may be a bit older than the rest of you (I was 13 when the Beatles "invaded" America. LOL) but I have a true passion for the Beatles, especially Paul. My 20 year old daughter feels the same way and it's something special we share. We have to keep the thread going for Paul to come to Australia. Are you listening Paul? Come to Oz!! Rita

RE: Paul, Come To Australia
Hey Chrissie and Chriska! I am soon to be a Sydneysider. It's getting really close to the time for the move. My 2 daughters live in Los Angeles so we plan to visit them for about a week. We are considering a couple of days in Hawaii then off to the land of Oz. I would love to meet up at the Beatles Festival, Chrissie. I have read about Adelaide and it sounds great. I have actually been "studying" Australia for the past several years in preparation for the time when I would be living there. My husband is an Aussie and I've met his family. I have to say, Aussies are so friendly and laid back. I like the way you're so accepting of different cultures, etc. It should be more like that in the U.S. It is definitely time for Paul to make the trip to Australia. Put me down for the "Cause"! Rita

RE: Paul, Come To Australia
Paul really needs to go to Oz to see his fans there. I know it would be super successful. We all know that Australia is far away but that's not the point. Aussies are great people and deserve to see the show. I am glad, however, to see Paul touring the U.S. again. I am still feeling guilty for my daughter not seeing the show, when I did. I am moving from the East Coast of the U.S. in less than 3 weeks to beautiful Australia. I plan to attend the Beatles Festival in Adelaide. Australia is a truly magic land and I feel honored to be moving there. All the best, Rita

Oz definately deserves a visit from Sir Paul. I know it's a long trip but Australia is worth it. ) justesgrl
