@njr OK I'm embarrassed now. I'm still trying to figure this forum out. I guess I should look more closely at the dates or find stronger reading glasses!
Anyway, I'm no longer upset about 2022. I'm not going to have a great year

@Kat65
I've loved the Beatles since I was a young girl, especially Paul. I also enjoy sculpting, reading,studying Buddhist and Hindu religion/philosophy, Karma and reincarnation. I have traveled alot in my life and lived in Scotland 12 years, Northumberland 6 months and the USA all the rest of my life in a small town in Illinois.
I have learned not all people are good or kind and you can't trust everyone. I've learned people will hurt you but whatever you do, don't ever let them break you.
I learned Love IS all you need, but it begins with loving yourself.❤

RE: Happy New Year!!!
@admin
Hi, Kay here
I'm sorry about your New Years. Mine whole holiday was pretty God-aweful. That pretty much summed up 2022 as well. How I had the strength to carry on? Music, reading,art. I'm hoping for some big and positive changes in 2013.
We have to live this life for ourselves, take care of ourselves, walk away from people and things that hurt us emotionally.
As for being alone? You are never alone. Each day you have an opportunity to meet and make a friend any time, any place. But yeah on the holidays it's bad when your own family doesn't even have you over for dinner.
Regardless, you can get through whatever is going on in your life. I don't know your story and you don't know mine but I do empathize with you. I swear sometimes I just walk around with a dark cloud over my head, wondering if I will ever see a ray of light! Lol
Listning to Paul's music and the Beatles has a way of soothing my soul.
I hope this year brings you happiness and better fortune and you find your path that leads to a better life. (I hope I do too) -
RE: New member introduction
@njr You've done alot better than me, at least you've got to see them. I ready wish I was born closer to my sister's age so we could have road tripped to one of the bigger cities like NY in the late 60s and seen all 4 of them in concert. She told me they never played in Chicago.
Seeing Paul even just once before I die is definitely a priority. If there's a concert this year, I need to go! -
RE: New member introduction
@njr That's wonderful! Have you met Paul in person? No I don't have an extensive collection but I'm working on it! I hope to see Paul and /or Ringo this year if they decide to tour but would like to go with other Beatle fans.

RE: Silly questions for Paul
@wandy Honey is great with toast and peanut butter! Paul may like beans on toast..no worse than peanut butter and honey. Actually it's pretty good

New member introduction
I would like to thank you for letting me join your group.
Sir Paul,
I have been listning to the Beatles since I was 5. I was born in 65 and my sister was 12 years older than me so when she babysat me that's all I heard LoL! Yellow Submarine I remember well from back then, I wanna Hold your Hand, Here, There and Everywhere and Help, along with all your other hits.
In the 70s it was your group Wings I loved so much, they would blast out Band On the Run, Jet, Uncle Albert etc. at our local swimming pool, and in the 80s I remember Say Say Say with Michael Jackson and you even appeared in an MTV video with Tracy Ullman. The 80s were kind of a blur as I was a teen , but your music has always been a part of my life. You are a treasure and a beautiful, talented man. And I don't know if you will see this or not but it would be a great honor if you did.
Take care. Your fans here all love you!
