Hi People, Well I have just been to the greatest concert ever I arrived early at Hampden on Sunday lunch time and from outside the stadium I could hear the soundchcek, and knew then we were going to be in for something special that night. In the ground you could physically feel the atmosphere build in the crowd when the P.A. annouced the Macca would be on stage in 30mins, by the time he hit the stage shortly after 8.00pm the atmosphere was electric, and the welcome he got from us, the crowd, his fans, was almost overwhelming to him. Just as he was about to get started there was a technical problem, with I think Brian Ray's guitar, this little thing seem to make the whole thing real, live, if you know what I mean? But Paul took it all in his stride and just stood back and told us he was just going to stand there and take in the atmosphere. Once he got going, over next three hours Paul was like a graceful force of nature, pulling hit after hit, mixed with some rare live versions of back cataloge tracks. My personal highlights were, I've Just Seen a Face, Sing The Changes, Live & Let Die, the personal Here Today, and of course the second encore with quite a rare live performance of Mull Of Kintyre, with the Loretto School Pipe Band who were magnificent. A special mention for the band also who were bang on the money with everysong. I could go on all night, but I do not think I will ever see a better concert
