The last Beatles item that someone gave to me (for the holidays) was a Beatles water bottle. How cool is that!
Thanks to some very nice people in my life, I got Macca's Up and Coming Tour jacket and a BOTR deluxe set for Christmas (not to mention a Beatles water bottle). I'm very grateful.
I'm envious of those who have (or have had) dogs. I've always been a dog person and would love to have one someday.
He's always welcome to return to California...
I've dreamed that I've gotten Paul's autograph, but for some reason, he signed the item as "Macca" and not with his actual name. But really--I'd take anything!

OK, indulge me as I don't know where else to put this. In the summer of 2009, I took my then 11-year-old daughter to see Paul at one of his East Coast concerts. She's a huge fan, and wrote him a letter, which I never mailed because (1) I didn't know where to mail it and (2) what's the point? he must get tons of those things. So I just saved it as a keepsake for her to read again some day. Fast forward a year, and my now 12 year old daughter FINDS the letter. My name is now mud because I didn't mail it. So I promised her I would do something and since I still don't know where to mail it, I thought i'd just post it here. So here goes: Dear Mr. Paul McCartney, You probably think this is just another fan letter but it's not. I am your biggest fan. I listen to your music 24-7. I am 11 years old, 12 in December. I admire your new cd a lot. Some of my favorite songs from that cd are: Sun is Shining, Light on your Lighthouse, Lifelong Passion, Sing the Changes, and Dance til We're High. I also love the Beatles. To tell you the truth that's my favorite band. The Beatles. If you ask me, without the Beatles, life would be totally boring. I couldn't list my favorite songs by the Beatles because I have so many. You could say I know every song, word for word. You must be very proud to be so famous. I mean, what could be better than being a Beatle and then becoming even more of a wonderful musician by yourself? I think I like the Beatles together than apart though. I know it would be no use getting back together, but you guys were so funny and talented and awesome! If you can, please write back! Your fan, Emma XXXX XXXXXX P.S. Do you have e-mail? P.P.S. I know John and George are dead, but lets pretend they aren't. ------- OK, that's it. I hope you all get as big a kick out of this as I did. And I'll show her this, and hopefully my name will no longer be mud.
That's very sweet. I wrote a fan letter to Paul too when I was her age (not that I got a reply). Honestly, I would say you should mail the letter to MPL or to Concord Music Group. I doubt that Paul will reply, but really, why not? You've got absolutely nothing to lose but a postage stamp. That said, I do wish Paul had an address for fan mail! Even if he doesn't ever write back, the least his people could do is send out generic postcards or something.

I know!!! Paul really liked doing that. "girls, let me show you how STRONG I am"
Ohhhhhhhhhhhh.... Jealous x 10000000000!!!!!!
I always cringe when I watch the Another Girl video from the Help! movie. If you recall, it's the vid where Paul is with a bikini-ed girl and he's "playing" her body as his guitar.
So jealous, LOL!!!
