Yeah, this is probably a good time to give that one a rest.

I remember paying $250 for a ticket to the Concert for New York City in 2001. I remember at the time thinking it was an astronomical price, but I decided to splurge for this once in a lifetime event. Nowadays you're lucky if you can get in the door at an average concert for that much. It's crazy!
I was really hoping he would add another date in the NJ/NY area, but seeing that MetLife is nowhere near sold out, I doubt that's going to happen. In the good old days it would have sold out within an hour, but I'm sure these crazy prices are keeping a lot of people home. Who in their right mind would pay $500+ for obstructed view seats? It's insane.

We went to Ringo's 70th Birthday concert too....the recption Paul got when he came on stage was "off the charts"!!
It felt like the floor was moving...lol
I was there too and it was absolutely like that!

So great to have purchased two Hot Sound packages for my son James and me to close out Paul's "Got Back" Tour on June 16 at MetLife Stadium!!
We can't wait!
That's awesome! I was going to try for the Hot Sound package but ran into technical difficulties along the way. All the VIP options were gone by the time I finally got through. But at least I'll be at the show, so I can't complain.

I am trying on 2 devices for AMEX presale and keep getting error message saying can't complete on your device? Anybody else getting this message. typical Ticketmaster!!
Yes, I got the same message for the non-Amex presale. Very frustrating.
I had the same thing happen to me repeatedly on my desktop. I switched to my phone TM app and finally was able to get tickets. But they weren't nearly as good as the ones I could have gotten earlier

I'm soooo thrilled, I got 15th row tickets for this show!! Totally makes up for the horrible Monkees show I saw last night!
Uh-oh. What was wrong with the Monkees show? (You've got me nervous...I'm going to see them in September.)
I was at the Mohegan Sun show on Friday, and it was a complete disaster. They had a autograph signing, that changed 20 times during the day, they cut the show IN HALF for the autograph signing, which was turned into a private event. The audio was HORRIBLE, and it was obviously the person working the board, because it was louder than a heavy metal concert, and Mickey's mic was waaaaaaaaaaay too loud, and he can't sing anymore anyway, so it was just a really bad experience, but I hear the professionally run shows are fine!
Thanks for the feedback. Hopefully the show I go to will be a little more professionally handled. Sorry to hear about your bad experience.

All I see are singles at this point.
Not surprised. There were about 6 different pre-sales.
We're now in an age where it seems like you MUST be included in a pre-sale to have hopes of getting tickets to a major event. Public on-sales are meaningless.
All I see are singles at this point.
