I was 8 years old when the Beatles came to Vancouver in 1964. Miraculously a dream came true when the Beatle motorcade cruised into Vancouver through my neighbourhood on the way to the Georgia Hotel. My friends and I had waited all day for this "maybe"opportunity and then it happened...sirens blazing, the police escorted the Beatle limousine past our rag tag group of screaming 6-9 year olds and then, very kindly, slowed down. There he was...Paul in the backseat smiling and waving at our little group. That moment was "pure magic." For the first time since 1964 Paul is returning to Vancouver. Now here I am, 56 years old, a professional women , mother and grandmother but still as excited as my 8 year old self to have the opportunity to be a part of the audience on November 25/12. Growing up with the Beatles and Paul's amazing music was always an ever present reminder that despite all else, a little magic really does exist in our world. Thank you Paul!
