RE: SoFi Stadium, Los Angeles - May 13, 2022 Confirmed
Near the bottom of section 227 on the aisle. I'm hoping there isn't a deck over my head because that can mess with the sound. I'm kind of glad I didn't wait for the noon pre-sale. It looks like the queue is really long for that one but I got right in on the Amex sale. Congrats on the Hot Sound tix!

That's great! I would love to see a soundcheck but it probably won't ever happen. I did the AMEX pre-sale and I think I got the best seat I could for what I was willing to budget.

RE: Ringo wants to tour with Paul
beatlesfanrandy:
I was lucky to see Paul and Ringo play together at the taping of The Night That Changed America TV special in 2014. Paul and "his band" started by playing Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band and then Ringo walked on as "the one and only Billy Shears" to sing With A Little Help From My Friends. Then he stayed onstage and hopped on the drum kit for the program finale Hey Jude. Abe played his kit too. Nobody had any idea they were even doing their own sets, let alone play together! It was a special and magical occasion. I am so glad I was there to witness it. The next few months are going to be exciting for Beatles fans!
I was there too. It was indeed special. I shouldn't feel greedy after that, but....I would love to hear them play an entire show together, Beatles songs and songs from their respective solo careers.

actually, if I am reading the prices right, they are not all that bad, compared to what some of the bands charge for their regular concerts, esp. the ones with VIP packages like Paul ,the Stones, and The Who.
I tend to agree. Except I have no desire to stand in a patch of sand for 12 hours at that price. Actually, for any price. But I get that this festival is geared toward a younger, festival crowd who do these things all the time.
Although the venue is in a desert location it's actually not a patch of sand, it's grass on a polo field.
In that case, I'm IN!!! :
When Paul played at Coachella my friend and I drove at 4AM to line up at the gate and then headed to Paul's stage to stake out a front spot, where we stayed all day until his set at 10:30PM. It was great seeing him from the front row but it was a lot of work and I don't think I'll do that again, especially not three days in a row. Anyway, I got your point, but I just think the situation this time will be less uncomfortable and I hope it won't be necessary to stand around all day. The performances are in the evening and those lucky enough to get reserved seats really won't have to get there hours and hours before the show. If I end up with GA behind all the seats, then.....yes, I guess I'll be hanging out for hours. It's a tough job being a music fan, but someone's got to do it. I hope you decide to go and I hope you have a great time.

RE: San Diego - Pre-Sale Thread
This was difficult but it finally worked. I needed four and got them, but further back on the field (A12).

This was a nice surprise! Finally, I can see Paul without a long drive. We're definitely going.
