Oh I can feel the stress already in trying to buy tickets but it's about time Macca played the UK again. Tickets on sale on my birthday too. I hope that's a good omen!

I was able to meet Brian briefly after the RAH gig. I did hang around until 2am to do so! ha ha! Was able to thank him personally for using my photo of him and Macca at the Glasgow gig in 2010 for a guitar magazine. Hey, I never met Paul but meeting Brian was just as good for me. What a nice bloke!!

I was told there was a Beatles tribute band called 'Them Beatles...now I've never heard of them. Any of you seen them? Apparently they are Scottish based. Normally I aint into tribute bands but always willing to give them a chance and its only because I met a fellow Beatles fan where we found out accidently we were both Beatles fans

Them Beatles are the next big thing!! Better than the Bootleg Beatles because they are younger, and have possibly more enthusiasm and drive. I've seen them 3 times and going to see them again on the 3rd March at the Glasgow Pavilion theatre. Go along! you will not be disappointed. they have their own facebook page and are on Myspace http://www.myspace.com/thembeatles oh and their Beatles guitar collection is awesome and they're lovely guys to boot and nice to talk to PS - They are Glasgow based.

I got my photo printed in this magazine article! I'm the Lorna underneath the picture, which I took at Glasgow's Hampden Park. I was so excited when Brian got in touch with me to ask for it. However, I never heard back for a while. It was a little tainted for me. Someone pretending to be me, tried to charge the magazine for the photo. I had no contact from the magazine themselves so didn't know what the photo was being used for. I only found out the other day when Brian had to get in touch via facebook! it's not a nice feeling, I was so embarassed that he and the magazine thought I would charge. Whoever thought they could charge the magazine and caused me some anxiety, I hope you rot! Anyway, I will now enjoy my little 5 mins of fame and thanks once again to Brian for choosing my photo.

I can't forget about this gig, Jean! It was one of the best gigs of my life - I have thought about it every day since! I met so many nice new friends from all over the world that weekend! Yep, Jo is coming to stay with me in the next couple of weeks and we're going to see the Bootleg Beatles and Them Beatles. It will be the best week before Xmas I've had in a long time. and how can I forget that the man himself pointed me out for not remembering the 1960s, a memory I'll never forget! He better play the UK soon!!! I need a fix! I've become Macca and Beatles crazy all over again, I feel like a kid again!

It is nice to read you about that but it was a greater pleasure to hear you telling it just after the show

Yeah, the after the show thing was very fun as well, lol. Except for the waiting for a bus/cab moment. But it all worked out well in the end

Hello!! jean! Nice to see you on here and I know your Forum name! I was so excited after the concert, and it was good that we all met after it Yeah, the cabs and buses were not so good. One week later, Pink played at Hampden. I didn't go to her concert but no one could home from the city to the south side where I live! I emailed the culture and sport offices and asked for the banners but they have ignored my email I wanted to get ones for all of us. At least I tried! here's to Paul coming to Scotland again!!!!

Hey, if you read all of my comment above yours - it's a collaberation between Paul and The Freelance Hellraiser....the cd is called Twin Freaks!

Last year in Atlanta there were new remixes to go along with the video montage on the screen, so not all of the songs are on the Twin Freaks cd. I'm wondering where I can get the rest of those mixes! I really enjoyed the new ones.

Ah! I thought I heard some new ones but I guess I was too busy being over excited, and talking nineteen to the dozen to pay too much attention! Ooooh, I wonder where the new ones are or were these just for playing at the Up and Coming Tour? Fingers crossed for a new one!!!

p.s. Did anyone see anyone famous at the concert?

I'm soooo bad with famous people. I don't even recognize famous Dutch people, let alone famous Scots. During the soundcheck there were relatives present. There was this dude that looked just like Paul, same eyes, same mouth. I'm not the kinda person that attacks people and ask them who they are He walked by me right before the gig, asked if we liked the soundcheck. Still have no clue who it is. Must be Paul's cousin maybe. Not famous (to me) but Paul-related. Mary was there. Apparently she was standing right behind me during the soundcheck. And again, I didn't notice. I saw some familiar faces on stage though, that's all I saw

Heh heh! There were 2 women behind us at the front, and the official photographer took their photo. The older woman looked familiar to me but I can't think who she was. Yeah, the lookalikey person thought I was at the soundcheck too!I had to say, now I'm just here talking to my friend (you) and he said hello anyway! Strange! lol! I'm a bit on a comedown now, it's only taken 5 days to come back down! So watching the McCartney Years and wishing I was going to Hyde Park or Cardiff - however nothing would beat the amazing company you guys were and there was no chance of being at the very front ever again! *sighs*

Loved the video montage at the be but who did the remixes and where can I get them?

I'd like to know that too. I really liked the 'Coming Up' one! Glad you enjoyed the show.

The CD is a collaberation between Paul and Freelance hellraiser in 2004 called Twin Freaks. The title is taken from one of his paintings. More info is here http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Twin_Freaks Some vinyl is going for £40 but you can trawl through ebay and get it reasonably on there.

Hey! Thanks for replying to my query. I'm glad the facebook site owners have been alerted. It's so uncomfortable to read on there! Least you guys are doing a good job on here, it's jolly more pleasant to be on here more!

    • A question regarding the PM facebook site.

I have no idea where to put this query, so can only think of putting it here... So, do any of the moderators on this forum, also moderate the Paul McCartney page on facebook? I'm noticing a lot of negative and abusive statements on which I deem as a fan page but they don't seem to be getting deleted, or blocked? It's causing 'flame wars'and doesn't make good reading. Hey! I'm open to debate and not everyone agrees on everything but that page as some right a$$hats on it!

Paul was on top form! End of. anyway, I found my 'moment'of when he pointed at me as I clearly did not remember the 1960s! I think I should have behaved and not shook my head so much, I could have died but I was elated too!
